I am ordering a replacement of the brake vent cover at Snow White Pearl Premium 2.0t Stinger. These are smoked chrome, I think it will look better than the silver colored ones in the car. I Dont think prying it off is the way to remove it , I wanted to cover the skid plates on my X6 with Viny and tried several things to remove them without luck . Then I just asked my BMW service advisor how to remove it and it was simply pulling it forward to release the "snaps .You dont want to risk damaging your car , your dealer will have access to the proper process as will a good autobody shop . Also I was going to suggest painting the vents or wrapping them . The orange Sema car had those pieces wrapped in Carbon Vinyl and it looked good ( if youre going to all the work to remove them , Customize them !!

Thank you westcoastGT! I was not comfortable about using very much force to pull off the brake vent cover. Will try pulling it to the side before resorting to prying. Looks like it might work by opening the front door of the car and then pulling the cover toward the rear.

Already ordered the smoked chrome covers as replacements. Will put them on and then experiment with customizing the originals.
 
I'm looking for an led reflector insert for the tail lights crawling up the rear fenders. Anybody see that yet?

Just installed this brushed metal finish magnetic phone mount which looks a treat on the matching finish centre console and works very well.

Just a point to note if you want to wireless charge the device in the car or at home you need to ensure that the adhesive magnet that attaches to the back off the phone or case is not near the area that houses the charging inductor/coil inside this section of the phone as putting a magnet near it would prevent the wireless charging process from working. With a galaxy S8 if you place the magnet in the bottom third area all will work well.

That's what I would think to. Where I am at it's impossible not to track road salt in to the car. Cleaning the salt off the felt seems impossible. I imagine it would be the same with dirty puddle water, mud, etc.

The felt material
It looks good when installed.
But cleaning is very tricky ...

Video on you tube on replacement of hubs. The guy just used a screw driver. There is a little niche on the hub built for your screw driver. Easy to pry off.
