If the Spartan Liners had free shipping I would give them a shot, but after shipping they're just as much as the TuxMat's.

Words of caution - metal tire valve caps are bad boys alright, they are made from a different metal from the thread on the valve stem and the dissimilar metals create a chemical process (involving water) which eventually fuses them together. The effect is accelerated by the presence of salt.

But if its tight how water can get between the stem and the cap?

The seal is usually placed at the underside of top of the cap. It seals the interior space of the Schrader valve, but not the thread section.
Thanks for the tip.

A dab of antisieze would prevent it, but I've been using metal valve caps for 30+ years and never had an issue.

Hate to say it but I believe metal caps can make tyre sensors give incorrect readings.

I ordered the Spartan liners on Amazon and I am now returning them. They fit well and were easy to clean. When I drive using cruise control, I want to position the heal of my right foot just short of the accelerator pedal. What I found with the Spartans is they are too slick causing the foot to slide forward and hit the gas pedal. This is also a problem with the brake hold active.

I don't have this problem with the OEM carpeted mats or with the WeatherTech on other vehicles.
