I'm thinking about ordering these to replace the brake vent covers on my Snow White Pearl Premium 2.0t Stinger. These are smoked chrome, which I think will look better than the silver-colored ones that are on the vehicle. However, not sure about how to remove the existing covers. Has anyone already made this kind of change-out? If so, was any special technique or tool required? I don't want to try just brute-force yanking the existing ones off if that will damage my new baby!

Have you felt around inside for bolts? If you don't feel anything, they're probably on the opposite side of the panel. You shouldn't need to rip them off. Just unscrew them...

Look at the pics in that link. They look like they just snap on to me. If you buy them and have them in your hand it should be really obvious how they connect. That will tell you how to remove them.

At first, I thought the screws might be used to mount the cover to the side of car. But based on a closer look it does appear that there are snaps that allow it to be installed by pushing the cover into the side of the car. At this point, my main question has to do with how to remove the existing cover so that I can replace it. Anyone have suggestions?

Its got to come off the opposite way it goes on. Grab on and pull. Might need a plastic tool to pry it a little..

Ok, thanks. I will get a plastic pry tool then hold my breath, pull and hope for the best. Might take a day or two, but will report results when I try this.

The vinyl won't work for Canada either since the front right door vinyl has only one hole for the power window switch and oddly not for the door lock (Does the Korean Stinger have the power door lock in a different location??)

I Dont think prying it off is the way to remove it , I wanted to cover the skid plates on my X6 with Viny and tried several things to remove them without luck . Then I just asked my BMW service advisor how to remove it and it was simply pulling it forward to release the "snaps .You dont want to risk damaging your car , your dealer will have access to the proper process as will a good autobody shop . Also I was going to suggest painting the vents or wrapping them . The orange Sema car had those pieces wrapped in Carbon Vinyl and it looked good ( if youre going to all the work to remove them , Customize them !!
