Dodger Blue made a post in Sep ‘21 almost identical to my experience. Same spot and even running same direction it seems.IMG_4383.webpIMG_4458.webp
Came out to find a dent on the trunk lid deck that looked like someone had dropped their elbow on it. No paint damage or crease at the edge.
I thought someone had maybe tripped and fell onto it. Or being plastic maybe a heat source or hot sun but it’s winter and even in FL it’s only in the 60’s right now.
Anyone else had similar ?

I have removed my deck lid to install a carbon fiber one there isn't much to it, the only reason I could think would be flexing on the hatch back assembly but you would think that would affect the glass too

Hopefully you can find a good PDR guy. It should be fixable.
I had two small dents in my rear fender, passenger side, that were self inflicted (I put a canister on the shelf in the garage and it fell over and bounced off the car).
I found a PDR guy with 20 years experience as a body guy. Did a perfect job, right in my driveway. There are no signs it was ever damaged.

Paint less dent removal (PDR) may not work as it is plastic

My local panel shop does heat treatment on plastic bumpers then requires re paint. Just did a relative's car.

You will save the cost of a new spoiler fixing that one. A new one probably comes black and requires painting

Lets see the cost of new.....

I think the problem they're talking about is on the decklid, not a spoiler. Pretty sure the decklid is metal.

If multiple people are experiencing the exact same dent in the exact same location, it could have something to do with the manufacturing causing it. I believe underneath the outer sheet that gets painted there are bracing structures underneath. It's possible they weren't bonded properly or something which caused that denting or warping. If that's the case perhaps it could be cause for warranty but good luck fighting that one.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...

that part of the decklid is a plastic cover. I suspect this is warping caused by heat.

The deck lid is called the spoiler. It is plastic. The whole rear is plastic from the windscreen to the bumper. The rear fenders are steel.

Take a fridge magnet and run it over the deck lid (spoiler) it won't stick. Move to the edge of the fender. It sticks.

here is another clue.....

Masterfully illuminated

Refreshed rear LED combination lights now span across the full width of the vehicle seamlessly for a distinctive new look. Above it lies the arched integrated spoiler adding a stunning finale to the Stinger silhouette.

Heat was my thought too in addition to someone falling on it but it’s sat outside in the height of Florida summer with no issues and it’s not been above mid-60’s here for weeks. It’s a mystery for sure

Well, I learned something today. I suggested a PDR guy would help, thinking that the deck lid was metal.
You are correct. I checked mine earlier today with a magnet, and it is indeed plastic. Sorry about the bad advice.
