Under body panels

I shudder to imagine what it would be like at 155+ MPH if an under panel separated!?
It's not fun I had it happen when I was decelerating and it basically sounded like an airplane was on top of me and by God's grace it didn't hit the wheels...

Really. How would they absorb oil that isn't leaking? Does your Stinger leak oil? Mine doesn't. The under panels are coated in some kind of plastic. Otherwise, they would be trash at resisting weather from the road. @Lisa Hauser is experiencing some issue more than just getting the under panels wet. Sagging under panels would not stop the car. They would simply snag and get ripped off. Details are lacking in this repeating "saga".
They are not water resistant undercoated panels unfortunately. Consider it dense cardboard actually and that will indeed soak up water and if not dried to an extent will fall without hitting anything but water saturation weight…. I have the same problem and it’s laughable, likely to custom cut just the front with any form of plastic. One of the dumbest things I’ve seen on a car tbh

It would be nice to 3 d print a panel in carbon fiber.

Do they fit?
Those are representative only, not for the Stinger. If somebody made spiff aftermarket undercarriage panels, I'd be getting some. The OEM on mine still look really good. Weather has not caused them to "sag" in the least.

Mine are holding their own as well.

I thought about getting the Al cover for the G but never did. It's under the car, never really seen. Also, I do annual oil changes and want to pull the cover to inspect engine underside for leaks. Can't do that with any cover in place.

That said, the original cover on the G was held in place by 15 or 16 screws (10mm) and 3 push pins. Royal pita to remove each time. When I got rid of the car after 8 years it was still perfectly intact with all original pushpins present and account for.

I have no plans on getting an Al cover for the stinger either, but if this is of interest, maybe folks can reach out to Z1. If there's enough demand maybe they'll offer it.

The product would already have to be there for me to consider it. This isn't a thing I'd put in a request for.

Yeah me neither. As to why the two panels are there.
Aeronautics and protection from debris, leaves ,dirt, varmint. My best guesses

Doesn’t mean I can’t try

Hi,
please, could you check my attached pictures? I have found some cables hanging from an underbody. Is it normal?

Sure looks like the trans cooler pipes...

The trans cooler lines look like this
But they do not hang down at all.
Not sure what is going on with yours
