This section is for posting about regional-specific things like Stinger clubs, events, local vendor or dealer recommendations, KiaStinger.com member sightings, etcetera... In other words, I do NOT want people to need to scour through several different sections to find answers about their heads up display. That's why there's a section dedicated specifically to discussions like that. THANK YOU!

Tyre damage from pot holes

In the recent rain storms in Sydney, I have unfortunately went over a pot hole that damaged one of my front tyres. It's probably still ok to drive as its a small chip, but I am thinking of replacing the whole set instead of just the fronts.

Has anyone here bought a set or just the fronts? Wanted to have a ballpark figure on how much they cost.

Thanks

Looks deep to me. I'd be leery of driving fast on that. You can sand that rim rash and it won't show from a few feet away: I got that down to an art before finally powder coating my wheels gloss black. :P

I live on the Gold Coast and had a hole in the side wall on the rear after hitting a pot hole
Michelin Sport Replacement cost $345 fitted and balanced

Yeah that's pretty trashed wouldn't wanna drive further than to the nearest tyre shop on that. I've run Falken FK510's and Michelin Pilot Sport 4S's on mine and both are pretty good. Looking about 300-350 per corner but the rear will be more than the front since stock wheels are staggered size.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
The best and cheapest way to fit Michelins is at Costco. They carry the entire range and have the best price. I replaced the fronts after a pothole damage a couple of years ago, and just recently I put new rears.

Replaced my two fronts due one having pothole damage. I have the staggered sizes and had replaced all four about 20k miles ago. Went with Conti DSW2. With the road hazard insurance on the damaged tire, it was $210 USD. So, it would be ~400.
