TuxMat Review

If Tux is as good as its rep, it should fade to an acceptable faintness. My Kia hatch floor cover came rolled up in a box, if you can believe it. Creased all to hell at both ends. It looks fine now. I can't imagine Kia's material being equal, much less superior, to the Tux material.
If you're referring to the OEM all weather hatch mat, mine came rolled up as well and it turned out fine like you said. The two products are totally different materials though. The Kia AW mat is rubber and this is like a polyvinyl of some sort.

Yes, the all weather hatch mat. Does the polyvinyl seem likely to smooth out/unwrinkle?

I ordered tuxmats from the tuxmat ebay store and they arrived surprisingly quickly. Unfortunately, the driver mat has a crease on the right side that is very noticeable. Has anyone else had this issue? Will it self heal? I honestly think the wrinkle will bother me if it doesn't heal because it'll be the first thing I see when I open my door due to its location. I may seem like Petty Roosevelt here but I feel like for the price I shouldn't have settle for a quality issue like this.
Take a blow dryer to it. Heat and stretch.

I'm not sure. Since it's more of a faux leather and less "stretchy" I'm afraid it won't. I messaged Tuxmat to ask if it'll self heal. I guess I'll just have to wait for a response. Would I be unreasonable to ask for a replacement if it doesn't heal?

No. Tux stands behind their products 100%.

My Tuxmats "floor mats" seem to have shaped themselves well to the curves of the Stinger, but they are also held down by the plastic retainers. Either give it a little time, or send them pics and request a fix. Either way, FWIW, I am much happier with my Tuxmats as floor lines than Weathertechs I have had in past vehicles.

These look good. Considering these or the diamond mats etc in the next few months. Good to see people are liking these. Slightly prefer the look of the diamond pattern rather than the bars that these are.

BTW, I used a blow dryer on mine and they're fine now. One thing I will say though is I wish the rubber heelpad was a little closer to the pedals. Maybe I just rest my heel higher than I'm supposed to, but I find my heel is often resting just off the rubber pad.

Hello Everyone, does anyone have referral code that i can use ?

For all of you Canadians out there Costco Canada web site has Phantom floor mats for the Stinger which are really Tuxmats. If you check the picture on the web site you can see the Tuxmat logo in the front pedal protection area. They are a cheaper than Tuxmat at $220 CAD (shipping included) and come in AWD and RWD flavours (just search the costco.ca website for Phantom and enter the particulars of your vehicle to order). I installed them yesterday and they look good and fit prefectly covering pretty much all of the carpet.

Yep, I ordered a set for myself yesterday. I had ordered WeatherTech fronts for my wife's Turbo Soul, but over the two years, they kind of warped when I put them in storage for the summer season. I'm hoping they will get back in shape this winter!

I bought a set including the trunk mat and they are so sexy in my car. At $400 CAD, they are the most expensive floor mats I've ever bought for a car. I hope they will last me a long time.

Hey so resurrecting old thread:

Just finished installing my set. I have a problem though:

Rear set does not fit well because the part thats supposed to be snug with seat is too high I think? I had to raise the seats (didn't even know you could push it up and off some kind of plug) and tuck it in but when I do that, the mat going vertically up seems to be bulging. Anybody have pics of the rear set with the seats? I'll share a pic tomorrow.

Are you sure it is flat and snug on the floor? I don't have pics but mine don't bulge, they are good fit.

My only complaint on these mats is that after a while they start to creak against the plastic they are touching, that just seemed to start this year. Could be remedied with hockey/felt tape on the mats at the edges.

Got any pictures? Mine fit perfectly. Is it possible you got AWD mats instead of RWD or vice versa?

Pics of mine, AWD with AWD mats. Fit is good.
