3.3TT Transmission and differential oil

How did you see it? I had the underbody panels off this past weekend and couldn’t find it at all
I had the whole engine/sub frame out and it took me a bit of looking to see it.

It took me awhile to find it as well, you need to shine the light from the front towards the diff just above the power steering. I laid a head lamp on the lines shinning backwards toward the diff. Then you need to look from the bottom up at the front of the diff, there is no room to see it from looking at the front back. It is the longest part of the process...once you find it just feed a 9 inch extension with the hex socket on it.

Thanks for the description. I'll give it another shot this weekend. When you found it, are you looking from the middle of the car to the front of the car?

Look straight up at the front portion of the diff a little bit towards the driver side of it, the fill is on the driver side on the front of the diff. Next time I do mine i am gonna take pics. Having the light in the right spot is the key, I used one hand to move the light as I looked along the front edge of the diff.
I could find it in minutes now that I know where to look...you will find it and when you do it will be a duh moment..lol

okay so the diff is on the passenger side (US model) and the fill plug is on the driver side of the diff. Did I get that right?

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...

Correct, the diff is fairly large and fill is more to the drivers side of center. I filled it by routing a clear hose through the same opening I fed my 3/8 extension and putting the amsoil bag on the hose, then I filled until it ran out. I believe it held almost 1 whole bag.

Great info, thanks for the help I appreciate it!

Red line 75w-85.

Is there an LSD (Limited Slip Differential) additive anyone recommends?

I used Valvoline Full Synth 75w-90

I still had audible binding when making turns, so I drained some of the oil out and used this "Trans-X Posi-Trac" LSD (Limited Slip Differential) additive to get things back to normal.

I used the same Valvoline Full Synth 75w-90 in my 2020 for LSD (Limited Slip Differential) fluid change at 36k. Afterwards I noticed noises and from what I researched people call chattering during low speed turns. Did you put the entire bottle of the trans x in? Going to buy some and test it.
I just changed my RWD LSD diff fluid using the Redline 75W-85 GL-5 oil and now I am having a light shudder from the diff when cold; especially reversing and when turning. The issue seems to go away when the car is warm.

I am going to try an LSD friction modifier additive to see if that fixes the issue. I feel like the Redline 75w-85 may not have the higher percentage of FM as is recommended by the Kia TSB (up to 7% from 3.5%).

@staccz1991 Did you ever try the additives suggested? Any updates?
