I guess we will have to see your results then. But saying you can adjust X or Y doesn't make it any more steal-able. Just helps sell units.

Im assuming the basics will be done. Torque changes, boost modifications etc. I doubt any launch control changes will be done with the ECU tune. Iknow the TCU tune is set for release as well. Thats when we will see the big changes until then it will be everyone chasing tenths lol. My only goal is to get a ECU tune so i can run valves open on my mufflers without overboosting. Thats where i have a ton left on the table and with that changed I know it takes me into the 11s.

when you get the overboost, do you get a CEL? Also, Is there a reason you're getting overboost on an EVC, or are you running primary catless?

I throw a CEL because im catless, with the JB4 i can delete the code though. I dont throw a CEL when I overboost just typical overboost reactions, Throttle cut, boost cut etc. I can run catless without overboosting by closing the mufflers creating a bit of back pressure, but any tuner who has the full maping can adjust WGDC or PID to rectify the issues.

When you say boost cut you mean zero boost until you turn the car off and back on, yes?
The throttle cut could be octane as well.

Why is that? I wanted to work with tork they couldnt deliver because they cant tune for catless cars still. After months (almost 6) of continual excuses I have decided to not work with them. I wanted to update this thread.

Post #1 vs Post #11 perhaps?
 
Id like to update this. After excuse after excuse John couldn't deliver. I will be working with BTR on my tuning needs.

Can a Mod update the title? If you can just change it to Disregard Thread lol.
Im sorry the excuse was we werent ready to release the tune. Im sorry we didnt want to release the tune unfinished and have you have all the issues you are having with the JB4. Hope you the best on your future tuning.

No they wont release any information. According them and another Vendor they told me they fear Tork will take their info. I dont think you will get to know much information unless you are there while they do the tuning.

We have seen plenty of their tunes from other communities as customers have had many issues with them and there isnt a single piece of their tune we would want to steal.
 
Hopefully BTRs 2 weeks is much shorter than Stillens 2 weeks. If they are on Stillen time the tracks will be closed.
 
Post #10 in Dec you were excited... Post #11 in April is a fail. Maybe you should re-install the primary cats and take your bromance to the next level... :D

I'd rather not. Any tuners should be able to tune for being catless. The fact that they cant shows they are still really far behind on finding all of the tables and indexing them.

No excuses werent that they werent ready, excuses were you would tell me they are ready then avaoid it for a couple weeks again. Just a month ago you told me a full stage 2 tune with meth was completed all I had to do was sell the jb4 and buy a new meth controller from you.... never happened. I'm not going to go back and forth with you because I'm not wasting my energy on it. The fact is you suck at dates, your customer service is subpar and I was willing to work past that. You can claim BTR tunes have issues becuase they arent here to defend themselves all you want. Guess we will find out when hundreds get their tune while your has been out for a year and no one wants it....

Not sure what stillen has to do with BTR but sure. As long as their 2 weeks doesnt turn into 6 months like some ill be ok :)

Ok, I'll bite.. who currently has catless tunes?
 
Lap3 pro piggyback handles catless. Thats it for what is on the market currently. Lap3 and BTR ecu tunes are said to handle catless but are not for sale yet.

Yes we forgot that tuning was so easy everyone does it, hence why their are hundreds of tuners for this market.... One day you may understand man. And you act like we are a one trick shop. We are a full shop that does tones of in house work including tuning. So I am sorry they we are trying to balance everything out. Just remember who was first into the 11s.
