The Scorpion spoiler arrived today and I am very pleased

Thanks, sorry to hear you can’t order it directly. Maybe see if one of the US parts websites can do a special request to AUS.
I will even ship it to him if he wants my local dealer to order it. @Paul GT Send me a DM if you want and we can work it out.

I had one delivered in the ceramic grey last week, its in the backseat waiting for its appointment with the paint shop- my car is the Ascot green. It delivered fairly quickly, so they must be in stock here in the US, because I tried a few months ago and the oirder was cancelled with no ETA of stock- it was $380 delivered. Tuscani Customs (Korea) has the Ascot green wing, but they want over $1k for it
may i ask roughly what they are charging you to paint it?

Yeah, I don’t even know at this point…I can’t imagine it would be much more than $300 ish, but what do I know? I should know by this time next week and will post, but gotta be cheaper than Tuscanicustoms by several hundos.

I really like the scorpion spoiler but the additional paint costs have scared me off. (My car is blue)
But there really isn't one other spoiler I kind and it's $800 in primer... Soooooo hoping the be scorpion would be cheaper.
Look forward to your response.

You have been doing some serious work on your car from day one

I wonder if there is a vinyl wrap option that can be done. Of course, would need to find a wrap that matches the car colour as close as possible.

I'd recommend just painting it. I had my non Scorpion spoiler wrapped and while it looks good, there's small issues with the wrap quality in certain areas. It's starting to peal at the seam. Might be because of the design, which obviously the Scorpion is different. The spoiler is flat black, at some point I'll take it off and have it painted gloss black.

I'm sure a place could do it but it won't be nearly as durable as paint. Just my 2 cents.

Lol, for the first time in my life I am "less" concerned /constrained by money. I would do a cat back, but im not dropping $3k on the Jun Bi, even if my finances can afford it...if it was an Audi RS5/7 I might consider it, one day!

Eventually, I'll get the right caliper seals and finish the Brembo upgrade, but there's not much left I can or want do to my Stinger.

Just read you mod list, Color me impressed. That's some serious dedication to the 2.5

The refreshed 2022 GT-Line checked off all the boxes for me:
300hp 2.5T
LED headlights
Rear light bar
10.25" display
AWD
Near 30mpg without completely babying the gas pedal.
I'm driving over 25k miles annually- the car is my DD. Not many choices out there for under $45k. I want it to be a solid 5.0 sec car, but even with the JB4@MAP3, pretty sure I'm not there.

I would NOT have bought the pre-2022 GT-Line

Damn, my 2020 awd is also my DD but I'm only at 13k after 2 years. We do have multiple cars though. My wife's Grand Cherokee just hit 30k and we bought that brand new in 2016. That's a lotta miles you putting on that car. I'd think you'd be getting better mileage than that actually for the 4 cylinder. My car can easily get 25-26 per if I stay in comfort mode, which is what I normally drive in. I do mash it out in sport mode for fast dashes more than once in awhile.

What kind of wrap is it. That makes a huge difference. Right now Tinybot Vinyl is the best imo.

Honestly, I'm not even sure. Had it done a couple years ago now so I'm sure companies probably make better stuff now then they did then.

Thanks for ur time

Andy

Could always reach out to someone stateside and have them ship it to you if you can afford the shipping and want it that bad, a few years back I had to do that for the Valve Index (VR headset) for one of my friends in Australia. He had just started working at a game studio and even the studio couldn't get one. I had one at my door and shipped out to him as soon as he asked me.
