In the lead up to the New Year we will be doing a giveaway each month, where one set of pads (front or rear) will be gifted to one randomly selected forum member from our entire range, just by participating in the below thread!

In past giveaways We have discussed our first ride, garage and storage spaces, famous people we have met or would like to have met and weird and wonderful vehicles amongst other topics.

We will start this month with a Halloween inspired theme; If you were to make a Frankenstein Car, what parts would you HAVE to have on it? Be silly, be serious, we just want to spark some fun conversations!

Would you take a Ford supercharged engine and put it under the front end of an Aston Martin, with the back end of a Porsche 911? Would you get a mk1 Mini body and put a Hellcat engine in and lift it on a Ford F-150 base?? It can be as ridiculous or as passionate as you like.

The lucky winner will be randomly selected and announced within a few days after the closing date of 1st November 2022 and details will be posted on this forum shortly after.

Please be aware that this thread may appear in more than one section on the forum and one winner will be selected from the whole forum, not a winner per thread.
Pad choice will be based on availability and where a chosen pad is unavailable, an alternative will be offered.

If you are not the lucky winner, EBC Brakes are pleased to be able to offer a 10% discount off their braking products to all members of the forum community using code FORUM10USER
This discount code can be redeemed at EBC Brakes Direct | EBC Brake Pads | EBC Brake Discs or with our USA partners at Perfect Brakes | EBC Brake Pads | EBC Rotors

Any questions or application issues please let us know.

GOOD LUCK………

What pads would you recommend for a agresive Stinger drive, no track time, dont care about dust or noise just performance.

How about a Suzuki Jimny slammed on air bag suspension, 12inch wheels running a 13B-REW twin-turbo twin-rotor motor.

An MGB with a V8 to show those Tigers a thing or two.

I'm thinking Monster Smart car with ludicrously big tires paired with a ridiculously small car body. Maybe the car body is fitted entirely within the tires and suspension, like a double-side flip RC car. Of course, there isn't room inside for a roll cage, so it would need an exoskeleton.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...

They have a tool on their site that probably answers that question for you: EBC Brake Pad & Disc Selector Tool

As for the competition, I already recently won so no need to put me in the drawing.

Frankenstein-ing a vehicle... maybe a gun turret.

I'd probably go all out Mad Max because if it's worth doing, it's worth overdoing. Perhaps a 1946 Dodge Power Wagon chassis, build out a roll cage, cover it with plate armor, the bugatti 8L W16 (I mean this whole thing is hypothetical so why not), a train like "cow catcher" on front to plow the traffic out of the way, and tank style tracks because...again...why not. And of course whatever implements of destruction you can stick on it. Because...screw rush hour.

This being a Stinger forum and all…

How about a Stinger with a tube chassis and a 454 big block. Throw in a 150 shot of giggle juice, stand alone fuel setup. Fun times!

Exactly my thinking as well. Lead, follow, or (definitely) gtf outta my way.

Kind of thinking the same thing, but I'd Safari a Stinger. Lift kit for big tires, remove the interior and the glass, put in a roll cage and add some armor and power. For some real fun, remove the hatch and add in a pintle mount for a machine gun.

how about a "green" energy frankstein mobile, like, get one of those taller larger teslas, cover it with solar panels, and have two of those large windmills but smaller versions of them so they fit on the back. the tires would be hidden like those funny looking hondas that cover up the back tire.

and have two of those large windmills but smaller versions of them so they fit on the back
Made me instantly think of this.

Love it. Actually the idea of having a wind turbine is quite smart, the faster you go the more energy it generates! Would just struggle getting into an underground parking...

Where does the pizza go in?

The turbines would retract like a sunroof(?). You would want them just over the edge of the roofline to maximize air pressure, so they would be a relatively low footprint item on the car. Might be on to something here. :p

Could technically vent air into a turbine as well, then nothing to retract.

Just a couple weeks left for your chances to win, and some great responses so far! any more inputs to this Franken-Car discussion??
