Swaybar upgrade vs ESC reconfig by Mando module

You would need to disconnect the box, or at least unplug the cables from it, instead of doing a complete uninstall. I posted a video of the install in the DIY section, you can see there are 2 areas where the cables are plugged into the box. You can unplug there if you wan to go back to stock without removing it.
That's good to know, thanks. I'll look in that section as I hadn't seen those videos before. I'm guessing one could go back and forth - no damage done by disconnection and reconnection?

Certainly. However, the built in settings in the App, is better than the stock setting. I would use those instead of the stock setting.

Yes, that’s my plan. The Mando should be here in a few days and I’ll try those first and probably experiment with the settings you’ve posted. But good to know I can pretty easily return for stock should there be any concern with dealer suspicion/warranty issues, lease return, etc. I know the Mando doesn’t usually trigger error codes but two users had some anomalies on a few occasions. Really appreciate all the help and really looking forward to using it!

You are welcome. I'll have to do some more tuning to mine, got in an area with bad roads and it made the hits harder with my custom setting, need to do one to mitigate the hard hits on crappy roads.

Have you been finding good high speed stability with the Mando? I have no major complaints about the stock ECS at higher speeds, but I’m guessing the Mando takes it in stride, perhaps yet more planted.

I love my Mando ECS10.

Out of the box, the car is transformed, with a little tuning I got it to be really, really solid!

However 20" wheels + lowering springs = harsh ride on broken pavement. I was playing around with the settings and was curious so I did 0%. all around. It really does help with the harsh pavement, I feel no stability issues at speed. To be honest, it allows the car to squat and it's easier to shift the weight for a little "tail out" action.

Your results may vary, I enjoy mine set at 0%. I do firm it up when I feel like it, but I like it!

The car is stable with stock and the Mando setting, both the pre-programmed ones and the settings I made. Harsh pavement is what I haven't done a setting for yet.

Is the Mando comfort setting not smooth enough for harsh pavement?

Did you feel you could shift the weight around in the same way with the stock suspension?

Yes, in a way. Having the Mando set at 0% allows for a lower speed and less aggressive turn in to get the same amount of weight transfer.

The total suspension travel is the same, with the Eibach springs it is less down travel, but the Mando allows for the spring to say a little more compressed for a longer period of time during the "shift"

I'm having the rear sway bar installed at a shop next week and I should have the Mando today. I was going to have the same shop install it at the same time but I'm curious to try just the sway bar first. If I have the Mando installed but don't fire up the app, do you think the stock suspension settings would still work? In that way I could assess the impact of just the sway vs. the sway plus the Mando.

Old thread but I just received my eibach front/rear sway bars that are going in soon. Heard about the Mando ecs10 and trying to decide if I want it too. Trying to make cornering and big curves feel more tight, stable, reduce roll, etc. Wondering if anyone has updated experience on having both the sway bars and the Mando?

If you have a 2022 GT1 as your sig shows, you probably don't have the OEM electronic suspension control, which means you won't be able to install the Mando. You might want to double check but if I recall, I thought in 2022 the electronic suspension was a GT2 thing.

Yep, just figured that out lol, thought it was going to come with it bc was reading specs on previous gt1's. Thank you!
