I don't know if there is an alternate thread for yellow, so I am bringing this one back from the dead .

I would be curious if members could post pictures of their car and the mods they have done.

I have some plans.. once she’s repainted I’ll be doing tint and intakes.. I’ll be rebadging hood and hatch next week. And getting some inserts for the Kia logo on the rims .. probably the yellow Gt ones

I am conflicted about it. I like to represent the company, but I hate logos that are just the name spelled out. I like concept art, myself.

Love my yellow, check out my gallery. Tints on headlights and all Windows. Exhaust next and some better tires than those Michelins, hate those tires. Waiting on letter from kia for respray, found paint chipping this morning. Damn!!!!!!!

We drop off the yellow off for repaint tomorrow. Taking it to the larger KiA dealer with their own collision shop o site. I was going to go with the dealer I purchased the original red one through but their off site 3d party body shop didn’t do a great job previous yellow and red stinger paint warranty work. The yellow repaint could take a month according to the dealer. Giving us an enterprise rent a car for the duration.

Fortunately we planned for just such a contingency. We are a two stinger family. I will let the wife drive the red one while hers is in the shop. I love to drive a rental. Do you know the differences between a M1 tank and a rental car? There are some places you just cannot go or some things you cannot do to a tank! I am sure Kia will cover any issues that result from driving a rental like a stinger.

Are you having any issues with headlight rubbing bumper? Also if they end up repainting bumper for that reason can they easily reinstall the new badges or we SOL?

I have a small chip by one of the headlights. Bumpers come off but not repainted per Kia so no re-badging required. If my guy does repaint, I'll buy new badges for him to install.

I received a KIA Optima for my rental directly from the dealership, less than a thousand miles. Interesting.

I think some have rentals and some do not. I have gotten both a Kia one and off site before...i can find no rhyme or reason...

Looking forward to hear how the re paints go. I am still undecided at this point. Even more so since none of the dealers by seem to have an site body shop.

Just curious how long you waited from the time you talked to your rep..to when you got a call back for a date on dropping off the stinger? My rep said she would call the dealer to set it up and I’ve been waiting a week ...
