Alright well dang, I think you guys just saved me about $4k. I've got my pick of the litter in terms of all four variations of the Limited Sunset Yellow being available near me, but the one I want (that I can afford anyway) is a RWD GT that they're already advertising $900 off online, so maybe I could get it even lower. I really like a sunroof if I can't have a targa top, but I have a feeling that yellow will brighten my days just as much as the sun coming in overhead, and as long as I do like you did and not compare directly to the GT1's stereo, I think I'll be happy.

The color is a straight up neck snapper. The color forces you to smile and others around you. So yes, it will replace the sun on a cloudy day.

And if those numbers are correct , 4000 saved sounds like an amazing aftermarket sound system with money to spare.

Congratulations!! How's does it look in person and how many necks have it snap so far?

It has snapped approximately zero necks so far that I know about. I bought it yesterday afternoon and the paperwork took so long I had to drive three miles home then head right to my parents house to bring them Chinese food and hang out with a friend, which I took my Corvette to do because I wanted to make sure the battery was well charged for the guy coming to test drive it today. I didn't want to call State Farm and talk to a national rep and get the bog standard price, because I've been with my agent for almost a quarter century so I'll wait until they're open Monday morning. So for right now it's just sitting in the driveway, possibly snapping necks of passing motorists. The drivers at the Stinger Experience Tour in D.C. were disappointed I didn't bring it. Sorry guys.

I have a limited sunset yellow and it looks way better in person and is absolutely the best choice if you want to stand out on the streets.

I certainly wasn't looking for attention with the yellow, or to snap any necks other than my own, but the sad fact is that 74% of new vehicles sold in America are either black, white, grey or silver. We seriously need less drab looking cars on the road and in seas of parking lots, and I want to be part of the solution!

#3 here. Dealer advised mine was actually 347/400. Not sure if that really matters. GT2 RWD.

@davebo - glad to hear you got one too. I know we both had some issues originally.

Color is WAY better in person. And everyone looks!!!

How do u know yours is 347 of 400. I have not found any indication that they are numbered in anyway.

GM had the info from a corporate email.

As far as I know, it's not on the car anywhere.

So...I took it with a grain of salt

I would like to know the actual breakdown on the 400 by trim and drive train at some point.

Been 4 weeks and 700 miles and me and family absolutely love our car. Just makes everything you do that much more fun.

Yeesh. I can imagine someone out there liking it, but I can't imagine that same person would pay an extra $6k for it.

I'm definitely going to keep an eye on that link to see how long that takes to sell.
