'Summer' or 'all-season' tire recommendations?

I've had the Contis and they were great but treadwear was premature I think , you can se in my signature what I put on at delivery and I can honestly say they are great in light snow and have not let me down in sprited driving . I will buy another set when these are done
And how many kilometers/miles do you expect o get out of them?

they have a 6 yr 45k MILES warranty but with a staggered set up I'll burn through the rears much quicker , if I can get 35K KM on the rears I would be happy , I've got 15K now

Reviving this thread from the grave. Split between the A/S 3+, continentals DWS-06 & falken Ziex ZE950.

Any other A/S recommendations for improved light snow traction and dry grip?

I'm partial to Michelin and think they're the best performing A/S tire if nothing frozen is on the ground. If you lived in an area that got cold, but didn't see much snow, or at least the car wouldn't have to make its own path in snow, I'd go with Michelins. Driven them on light snow and ice with no issues but much more than that, especially on a RWD car and things can go sideways pretty quickly. In that case, I'd say the Continentals. Not much real-world difference between them and the A/S 3+, aside from maybe launching and cornering because the Continental has noticeably softer sidewalls, but like others have said, will do better in snow. The Falkens arent bad, and are cheaper, but are cheaper for a reason.

Seeing as you're in NYC, I'd suggest the Continentals if the car will be expected to navigate packed snow or lots of ice with more confidence.

Quite a thorough response - appreciate the feedback! My gut tells me DWS-06 for that reason alone. Like the previous gentleman said I hear they wear out more quickly than advertised, especially on a staggered setup

I cannot tell you about the Continentals never owned them. I did switch to the AS 3 Michelins from the PS 4 tires. My car had 13K mile on it and rears were gone. I like the AS 3's a lot. I think you do give up some dry traction so it depends on how hard you push the car. The steering response is very close. I have had Falkens and they are a good price but in my experience as they get more miles they get rougher and loud. I think Michelin has the best quality of just about any tire brand. I switched to try and get more miles per set.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...

Would love to hear impressions of just how much worse the dry grip is on the A/S 3+ versus the PS 4's (from anyone who has made the switch).

I can't give you a real good idea in that I put these on within a month of buying the car. The rear tires were basically bald and I did not get to experience them with good tread left. I dd it because I don't push the car real hard and I wanted more life out my tires.
