Can confirm the Stinger GT is about as fast as whatever bike this is (maybe 650cc ?). That is all.

That's not a bike... that's a moving road barrier. Great for straight lines, suffers when the road turns.

Used to have a fz1, slightly tuned up.. 150hp at the wheel, 75 lb ft. I never did find out what its top speed was, didn't really care. The mods done to improve low/mid performance. I would expect 0-60 to be somewhere in the 3s range, and 1/4 in the upper 10's/low 11's. In fact, I if I can recall, 1st gear would take it up to 65 mph (11K rpm). The bike above is a twin, probably tops out at 5K rpm.

i rac---- drove next to a bike in the mountains. I could keep up with him on the straights and most of the corners even on winter tires. that said I would back off when i got close because last thing i want is to cause him to lose balance. that said he was not a new rider, his knee was about an inch off the ground in the turns and every straightaway would always start on one wheel at 60+ mph

I have my sights set on this. Almost bought one a few years ago... Great deal too, things just weren't aligning then.

thats one of them big cross country bikes right? the one I was with was like the blue one above. to each their own but I won't ever own anything bigger than a dirt bike. even then it has to be about 200 pounds so nothing big. my friend's dad is still limping from a small bike accident years ago.

Yup. My passion is those backroads that are not on the map or really hard to get to. That fz1 was all over the midwest and SE. Made it as far as northern GA (from chicago).

Dirt bikes are fun if you have places to actually go offroad. No such luck here.

I've been down several times due to my own doing (riding with a group I shouldn't have, forgetting to put the side stand down when I was first starting out). Got rear ended a decade ago while waiting at a light. Sold the bike shortly there after. License still has the M and I will ride again someday.
