Stinger Steering Wheel badge

It's actually identical to the wheel caps--completely flexible, not aluminum.

Got this custom one done. Keeper for now but I don't mind any longer having KIA on it since it surprises people when I tell them to look at the steering wheel :D

That looks amazing where did you get that made and how much did it cost? I'd love to buy one just like it

The revised version of the Stinger-logo steering badge is in production now with the different type of adhesive backing. EVGR used the same adhesive on the steering badges that they use with the wheel caps, but for some strange reason it's not ideal with completely adhering to the OEM Kia logo on the steering wheel. Some people actually haven't had an issue but the % that have is way too high, which is why we're having the new version made. It's even more odd because there hasn't been a single issue with the wheel caps adhering 100% even though it's the same exact glue. Either way, EVGR told me this week that the revised version will be done this upcoming Monday and then expedited over. I'm going to test one out myself for a few days to make sure it's good to go. If it checks out, then anyone who reported an issue with the original version or pre-ordered the "v2" will have theirs sent out. Assuming everything's good to go with these then EVGR will do the E-logo steering badge the same way--and if I had to put an estimate on it, I'd say they'd be available towards the end of June. Again though, that all hinges on this revised version of the Stinger-logo ones checking out A-ok.

Awesome! I'm looking forward to seeing what you guys come out with, thanks for the response

Along the same lines, do you guys have any intention (or can you) of making a much smaller badge to go over the Kia logo on the Car Key Fob? Something to cover up that badge with the E or Stinger logo would look amazing, and is a much better option than ordering the $100 key fob replacment

Oy vey - talk about taking re-badging to an extreme!

This is the route I am going. Trying to get ahold of the airbag E piece too. It's bugging me how everything isn't E. lol

I think KIA should at least be allowed on the key fob. I mean, they should get a little credit for the car :)

The way I see it, KIA made this new E brand. And put it on their Korean cars. So E isn't trying to hide the kia but helping kia get the E out.

Interesting reasoning...so you're going to show off your key fob's "E" to help spread the word?

That's just for my sanity sake. OCD about that. Everything needs to be kia or E. Lol

As for my reasoning to switch in the first place. It wasn't because I was ashamed of kia. I still tell people when they ask that it's a kia stinger. I did it because I loved the OEM Korean model when my first debuted. And wanted to keep it original.

This is exactly my lane of thought, the E badge is so sexy and really makes this car stand out, I'm not ashamed it's a Kia but I think the E badge just helps show this isn't your normal Kia, it's something special. For me it's almost like the M for BMW or AMG for Mercedes, and while I realize those still have there parent companies on there, the Kia logo as of yet doesn't turn heads, but this car is definitely the right start.

We should be able to do that, and adhering to a (relatively) flat surface would be way less complex than the steering wheel. I'll see if I can grab a measurement and get a quote for this. I'd imagine it would be about $10.

Well we've got both EVGR and Exos working on the steering badge. It will get done one way or another. Actually, the one that Exos makes will basically match their front bumper and trunk exterior emblems, so appearance-wise it's going to look stellar. This one will take longer though due to the injection molding process. (See the Import Shark vendor forum for a post I just put up with some visuals about that).

Well the new version is currently en route to us now (exactly on time as expected!), so after a week or so of testing to make sure it's good to go, it will be released to the public. ;)
