I got a letter/ad from my dealer today that is titled "A reimbursement offer for your stinger" and is pitching me a reimbursement allowance of $28,424, no payments for 90 days and 0% financing for 72 months and guaranteeing me a lower payment than my current one of $723.41 if I get a new one. I bought a 2018 GT1 with my buyout quote sitting at $34,591.82. I really enjoy my car, have zero issues with it and would buy a new one.

I am unfamiliar with this kind of promotion so my questions are:

Is this an offer worth pursuing?
What are the downsides of this offer?

Any additional advice anyone can share would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Why would you start your payments all over again for an identical car if you don't have any issues with your current one? If you want a lower payment you can try to refinance.

I get mail promotions about once a month. And I expect this to continue till my lease would have ended. It appears that the dealership does not know that I did the lease buyout. What's funny is that they offer me a 2020 GT1 for a monthly payment that is over a hundred bucks higher than my monthly was (is, to them, hah:p).
2020 offer.webp
