Stinger Owner Event in Irvine, CA

Did anyone else receive the brief survey and invitation from KMA to a Stinger owners' event at the headquarters in Irvine on March 2nd?

According to the email, "The purpose of this survey is to get to know a bit about you and find out if you are available to attend an exciting owners' event. Kia Stinger owners that attend the event will receive a $200 incentive for their time and participation." I assume this is to pick our brains.

I received an email today for an invite to drive the Stinger along with the other cars in its class. They are going across country with this event.

I still haven't heard anything--I'll post as soon as I do. I'm hoping that if they aren't able to accomodate everyone who wants to go, that I'll have an edge, since I'm guessing there are fewer women owners available to give them a good demographic sample. At least based on how few of us female owners seem to be represented hereabouts on the Forum.

Let's hope we both go! But I've given up trying to figure their voodoo-science merchandising research methods. One time they wouldn't let me fill out an emailed questionnaire because my trade-in car evidently wasn't new or classy enough! She was quite offended.

I'm betting you'll both get calls. I mean, really, do you see a whole lot of Stingers out there on the road in our area? How many owners could they have in the pool? Besides, I think they just started calling yesterday.
