Thats the thing, the minimum requirements as set out in the manual are oil every 5,000km for people who live in Canadistan.

Also, the weak link there is probably the lifespan of the filter.

I admit I haven't looked in to the owner's manual, but 5,000km is total overkill, I agree!

Do you have a GT? For the V6, the oil filter is very expensive from the stealership, but it is a high-quality unit made by Mahle, who do filters for Benz and BMW, engines that call for 20-25K oil change intervals, so I have confidence it will be suitable for a 12-15K interval.

Congrats! I work in Waterloo but live in London (lots of KM's this Winter). I have had mine since March and have seen around 5 in the wild. How was the install for the Injen/sound? I am torn between them and the K/N's

I have not installed the Injen CIA yet (still in box in garage). Planning to do it in the next couple of weeks (I'm sure either the K&N or Injen would be similar with regards to sound)
