Nope. Works for me. Wraps. They look incredible on the outside. But what about the original color inside the doors, etc? And how long do they look good? And how much do they cost? It seems like a paint job would be more satisfying long term.

I just had mine wrapped. To paint it would have cost $12,000+ (only got 1 estimate). To wrap was about $3500. The wrap didn't include door jambs, but the original color was black, and I had the hood, roof and hatch wrapped gloss black, so it doesn't look too out-of-place.

Here's an example of matte black wrap.

That looks really good too, but those Import Shark emblems kinda throw off the look.

I somewhat agree. I think I'm going to go no emblems and smooth it out at some point.

Having ours wrapped 3M Black Rose Gloss this week. We have some paint issues and are concerned going into winter. We wanted to protect it from more chipping, and figured might as well go for a color change. My wife drives this car as her DD, so she chose a color that complimented the red interior. Also, since we didnt want to pay an extra 1,000 for the door jams, the original black color wont stick out too badly with the Black Rose. The wrap has a bit of a color shift from black to maroon/purple, so fits the theme of the car very well. Will keep posted once we have ours done! We added tint to all the windows while they have it, plus full wrap, price is $3,500.

great color choice ! looking forward to seeing it done !

What happens if a panel gets scraped, do you have to have the whole panel re done?

My installer mentioned that if you have to re-do a piece after an accident, the new roll may not be a perfect match colorwise, even if it comes from the same manufacturing batch (they showed me their company pickup, that was obviously two-toned because a replacement piece was from a different roll). I wish I would have gotten a larger roll so I would have a perfect match in case I need to do a large piece or two. I have a bit left over, but not enough for 2 or 3 large pieces.
