Stinger Cancelled to Come Back as a EV

That's right Kia Stinger is going to be a 1K HP Super Car
I was talking to my sales manager about my order yesterday and he told me the same thing. KIA confirmed with the dealership that 2023 will be the last model year, but will come back as an EV at some point.

Sounds Exciting

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
It's on the Internet (aaagain), it must be true.

It will most likely be based on the newly launched Hyundai IONIQ 6 IONIQ 6 Highlights | Eco - Hyundai Worldwide
If you look at the size of the thing it's almost exactly as large as the Stinger.
And, if we look at how it worked with the IONIQ 5 and EV6, Kia's car will come 5-6 months later.
Sooo, what do you want for Christmas?

I think that's the best angle sadly. Maybe better in person? :))

Dodge Charger Daytona SRT EV concept actually looks relatively decent....until they "revved" it.

Also, looks like the Stinger isn't the only thing being killed. Dodge announced they're killing the Charger and the Challenger in 2023. My guess...also to move to EV.

Hmm. Further reading. Meet the Dodge Charger Daytona SRT: an EV That'll Kick a Hellcat's Ass Impressive, but also it all feels a bit silly: bring the muscle car lovers over by enhancing the electric sound, pushing it through an actual exhaust system: same with the multi-speed transmission. Finally including a hatch/liftback is very smart.

"Dodge officials are not yet providing range figures, but Kuniskis argues Hellcat buyers don't care about fuel economy." True. But we all care a great deal about convenience and utility: charging times remain the critical negative about EVs and I have not seen anything to meet that caveat: just a lot of talk, even the POTUS's "five hundred thousand charging stations" does not begin to address charging times, or even, especially, where the massive increased demand on the electricity grid is going to come from.
