3.3TT Spark plugs

Good to know, when I get them I'll confirm and if that's the case I'll return them, thanks!
I would not even consider purchasing NGKs from Amazon, even if Amazon is the direct seller.
Very high probability of fake parts from Amazon, especially NGKs.
The NGK knock offs may work for a while but will not last as long as NGKs, its not worth the savings.

Yeah, they're coming on Saturday and I'll be refusing them, the fact that they used the NGK part number was pretty misleading, glad it was brought to my attention. Thanks again @KDM Racer !

how have the NGK 2309 plugs been so far?

SSavage, how did you get the plugs to fit into the coil pack given the VW Group terminal connector difference? For the life of me, I can't seem to seat the coil all the way down onto the plug.
(Yes I know I just dredged up a year old post)

Are you missing the spring part between the coil and plug or maybe you got the wrong part #? I had no issues.

Nope, bought the exact same plug model. Looks exactly the same. I'll have to take one of the coil packs apart to see if there's a difference.

I couldn't get the ruthenium plugs to seat deep enough into the boot to reinstall either. I tried fitting with both parts outside the car. I can only seat them as deep as savages pic showed.

Either there was a boot/coil revision or I need another part number.

Glad to see it wasn't just me. I'd love to see actual photos of them installed on savage's car. I've got a wasted $50 worth of spark plug that I'm probably going to go try to sell off on a VAG forum.

Hmmm, I just used the Rutheniums on my 21 G70 a couple weeks ago, seated just fine and running great. It's strange that they won't seat properly, they're the same exact length top to bottom as oem and the top conductor has more contact surface area.

Do your coils have a full rubber boot? Or does it have a plastic piece in the middle?

I didn't take the boot apart, it came out as a flexible piece w/ no separation so can't really help with that :(

So you then you have a full rubber boot.

The older version was 3 pieces. It was the coil and then rubber piece, plastic connector, then rubber piece
