So Cal Area Service Center Experience (IE/OC/LA Area)

I am just being a curious individual and wonder if there are any Southern California stingers owners on this forum. If so have any of you taken your car to KIAs service center? How was your experience when taking it in for a service? Were they picky about having bolt-on mods and etc? I have not seen much about Southern California but hope that I will meet some members in the area as well at some point!

Merlin's right, mine's stock right down to the badging, so I can't help answer that question.

If you're near the SGV, I go to Covina Valley Kia for service. So far no problems, but I've never had anything mechanical done other than routine service and recall work.

I am in SoCal, but I do not go to Kia for services. If I did, I would probably go to Covina, or where I got mine from, Citrus. Either way, I have no experience with them. No reason to.

Or check out dealerratings(?), there are some decent ones in OC (from stuff I read on the internet, so take it with a grain of salt).

I’m in also SoCal and just recently bought my 2022 Stinger. I’m just outside LA and actually drove an hour to Ventura Kia since they were the only ones with the color and package I wanted at a fair price. I actually had a really good experience with them and their service department seemed clean and professional.
BUT I don’t really want to drive an hour each way every time I need an oil change or other maintenance?
So I’d also be interested if anyone has experience with LA Kia dealerships. Kia of Valencia or Van Nuys would be the closest 2 to my home and office. Any experiences with these 2 anyone? Thanks

I’ve gone to Kia Carson twice and both times sucked.

I went in for a flat and they put on wrong tire.

Another time I went in for an oil change and they charged me for a tire rotation? I didn’t ask for it and they didn’t even rotate lol

I’ve been going to a non Kia shop.

I go to Concept 3 for all my needs and services. After just dealing with KIA with the recall one time I decided I would never go back.
