**Short valve stems are required for wheels with valve in the inner part of the wheel

A few people have approached me for info on getting TPMS to work with wheels like Verde Axis where the valve stem is located in the inner wheel rather than in the outer wheel area.

Problem:
Some wheels have the valve stem on the inner wheel which will break on contact with the Brembo brakes. See 2 photos below:


Credit goes to Wheels Plus in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada for solving this problem. To adapt it, you need a valve stem adapter:

This particular one is Orotek brand distributed in the USA by Coyote Accessories. The part number is 897210TPMS.

However if you are in Canada, I recommend getting in touch with Wheels Plus and asking for Todd.

Yes, bronze. I had the same issue about the stem when installing and had to use a short stem to incorporate the TPMS sensor. The wheels are decent looking but wasn't my first choice. I wanted the Niche wheels, and was specifically looking for bronze colour. I ordered the Niche as the website said it should've been compatible but the retailer came back and said it would interfere with the calipers. They suggested the Verde would be compatible so I said fine.

Not a fan of the valve location. I find it inconvenient. I like the ones that stick out at the front like on the OEM wheels.

No. It's a gloss bronze, but rather muted. You would need chrome wheels to properly match or come close to matching the chrome accents on the car.

Agree with @Manchuz but it was the look I was going for and IMO looks good.

I check my tires on a monthly basis, I'd better double-check the wheels I end up getting because I had no idea they had wheels with the valve stem on the inside...

Are they easy to install?
I got another short stem and the ships were having too much trouble to get them on.
I do know a shop in NJ was able to get them on for another stinger owner. So f its easy for them to do it ill buy rn

I wouldn't necessarily call it a problem but I expect it would be the same as the 19s.

Are you running the +38 offset in the front, or +32? both will require in the 19" but a better offset in the 20's might make it less of an issue.

I'm running the same wheels on my Stinger, and ran into the same problem. Im currently using flush mounts but will move to these Coyote ones you've suggested shortly.
