Pure Turbos are $6000 with turbo cores. I see a few problems with them, and stuffed turbos in general. One, being sold without a proper tuning solution. Two, many companies tried to tune it, and I haven't seen any solid results(dyno and 1/4 mile trap speed) in the state side. There are a few guys who got the pure turbos done, but most of them parted out due to lacking results. Three, stuffed turbos reliability wise isn't so great. I've seen a few people that have gone through blown stuffed turbos. Apparently those turbo shafts are very small, and the added weight of the new compressor wheel is what's causing premature failures, so it requires custom shafts made to be more reliable. Turbokits.com made hybrid turbos & the same thing happened, and they are looking to upgrade it. They've been working with Lap3 for a few years, and I believe it will be available sometime this year. There's a Motec tuned Stinger with pure turbos in Russia, and its 1/4 mile trap speed is only 126mph. That's only a few more mph over stock turbos, and I want 130mph+ trap speed. Those are the reasons why I didn't go with hybrid turbos and ended up purchasing the Xcargot turbo kit from Lap3.
