residue on aluminum trim?

does anyone know how to get this residue off from the aluminum trims? I have tried everything and nothing takes it off....the only luck I've had is scrapping it off with a credit card, but that takes forever......

had the same issue luckily warranty covered it. Replaced all the trim.

yea i think ill take mine in to. be replaced too under warranty.....thou is clear from the other thread what to do to prevent it, ill just put some ceramic coating on it
