• PLEASE! It is VERY important that this area is not used for the discussion of technical issues with your Stinger. This section is for posting about regional-specific things like Stinger clubs, events, local vendor or dealer recommendations, KiaStinger.com member sightings, etcetera... In other words, I do NOT want people to need to scour through several different sections to find answers about their heads up display. That's why there's a section dedicated specifically to discussions like that. THANK YOU!

The warranty sticker on the rear glass looks a bit nasty and I would like to remove it, however as its been placed on top of the rear demister bars and I'm concerned about damage to the bars during the removal process
Has anyone been able to successfully remove it without damage to the bars ??

That label should come off easily, Kia put them there from the factory.
You should be able to lift a corner with your fingernail & peel it off.

+1 for fingernail method. Came off real easy.

I was able to see and sit in my Stinger, when it was still in the dealerships holding yard, were it is parked from being unloaded off the car carrying trailer truck, don't know why but don't recall that 7 year warranty sticker on the rear window, and was not on the car the day of pick up.

Don’t leave it on too long if you are going to remove it.
Reason being is I had a Kia Sportage in for tinting last week and the car was about 2 years old and had plenty of sun that had “cooked” the adhesive.
Even a heatgun had no effect on it so I had to carefully blade it in between the wires and then fingernails to move what was left.

For a new car you should be able to get a corner on it and peel it away.

Any residue left can be wiped over using straight methylated spirits wetted in a Kleenex tissue or similar.
