Reddit being reddit

PS I refuse to read Reddit. It is the modern reincarnation of news groups, and the signal to noise ratio is, if anything, worse.

r/cars is a very sane subreddit with active moderation.

Also agree with the article. To each his own. However, I would never buy any Lexus or Toyota product with that fugly front end grille.
We are living "the age of the grill". The future will look back on this time and laugh.

Vis-à-vis customer satisfaction with Kia service: over two-thirds of Kia owners are satisfied with their service experience, according to Consumer Reports last year. Reading the posts by dissatisfied customers is a distortion of the real world. What about all those who don't complain? You never hear from them. No kidding.

With the list of bells and whistles, I don't think most service depots are prepared/experienced to deal with stingers. The car is quite literally out of their league, considering they're catering to "enthusiasts" now, and they're not used to dealing with our level of OCD :p

Welp, there goes the front plate.

Go look at total sales for the stinger and telluride, they are not driving the Kia brand right now. Still far more Optimas, Fortes and Souls driving through the service drive.

Stinger will never be a big seller, it is a specialty vehicle. Sedans in general are declining in sales, everyone wants a dang SUV/CUV or a truck. Not me. I think the Telleride is being limited by supply so far. They are not to full capacity. That is the type of vehicle the American public is scooping up right now. I can see the Telluride being first or second in sales once supply is better. I had a 2017 Sorento SX and that was a pretty nice vehicle too, felt like a premium brand vehicle. I liked it better than the 3 series BMW I traded in. The top line Optimas are pretty nice too, and not cheap.

Kia needs to up their dealerships as I would bet the more expensive vehicles are going to be a larger share of their total sales.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
The Stinger is meant to boost brand perception and isn't really meant to be a sales superstar. It just has to exist, like the Civic Type-R, and it'll boost sales of other models.

The Telluride, on the other hand, is not a halo car and should be selling in large quantities.

Go try to buy a Telluride right now and get one of the high end models. They are in short supply and they are hard to get discounted, some dealers gouging on them. Kia needs to get the supply up.
