I am picking up a Stinger over the next week and while I very much like the design, I cannot stand the reflectors in the rear quarterpanels.

I've been looking at this as an option. I do understand that it might be potentially illegal to cover the reflectors. Has anyone used these and had an issue?

Also it looks like there is a fair bit of tinkering required to change these. Would be curious as to anyone's experiences.

Thanks

I was looking at other 4 door sedans and I don't really see the issue with this replacement as the rear light still wraps around the edge. It's not as pronounced as the accord in this pic but I'd be shocked if anyone actually noticed.

Good point.

Just ordered the parts from the store here. 6-10 business days but I still have to get car serviced next week and get stock rims powder coated.

Looks like they are fun to install.

Just curious as to why it bothers you so much? I'll admit, it definitely looks much cleaner with just the body color but I like them because their different and unique. It's crazy cuz 5600 miles in, I barely even notice them now.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
Not really sure why, its an esthetics thing for me. Not a fan of non black rims either. Fortunately I'm fixing that too by getting the stock rims powder coated.

I didn't get my first choice of vehicle color because the deal on this thing used is simply too good to pass up. At least I can change some of the exterior items more to my taste.

Conversely I don't mind that its Kia badged at all. I would prefer the new kia logo but otherwise that's something that I don't care about.

One of the first changes I made to mine as I really didn't like the stock look. No regrets and no issues so far.

Installation is mostly easy as some of the screws are a bit tricky to get to without removing everything.

Now if i can just get my car.

Had mine ordered before I took delivery of the car. Just don't drop the screws. :)
