I'm adding it to my list. I'm a strong believer in that light system and will investigate! Can't promise a speedy reply... changing jobs, going on vacation, etc

Answering your question about other countries, my Australian Stinger GT doesn't have front nor rear fog lamps. It also lacks engine remote start. Now that's interesting, I thought CA got all the features. Wonder if this is just a Korean spec feature only? Any other owners from other regions?
Just picked up a new Stinger this month in NZ and it has remote engine start, presume new Australian models will also have it now.Answering your question about other countries, my Australian Stinger GT doesn't have front nor rear fog lamps. It also lacks engine remote start.
Here in Idaho we get some of the nastiest fog that visibility drops to about 25 yards if that, plus the blizzards. But I would love to add these!I want the rear fogs - it's one of the features I'm already missing from my Saab, and and missing out on by not having gone with an S4 or M340i.
Could anyone with a refreshed Stinger in the EU share info on the rear fogs? Could anyone shed some light on how to enable them and where to source the parts to add them to the US model? Other than driving in whiteout snow conditions and fog or torrential downpours, I used them to deal with tailgaters to make them think I'm brake checking them.![]()
Yes it's now standard.Just picked up a new Stinger this month in NZ and it has remote engine start, presume new Australian models will also have it now.
So do you have a physically different rear light on the ‘22 and is your light control switch different? In middle east countries, we have rear fog lights in all newer cars as they became mandatory in new cars for the past 5 ~ 6 years.
What I have noticed in my Stinger (face lift model) is that:
- Fog light switch is spring loaded "it will return back to OFF position once you release it", which is different than what is illustrated in the video at the first post.
- Fog lights can be turned ON at "Auto/Low Beam" positions. They do not work in Dim light position.
- Once headlights are turned OFF "by shutting the car off, or, switching between Auto--> Dim --> Lowe Beam", Fog lights will turn OFF.
So, you can't keep rear fog lights ON all the time, as you have to flip the switch each time the headlights are turned ON.
How does the rear fog lights works and looks with the redesigned tail lights?

Interesting video, but fog lights are not available in Aussie models so farJust saw (at the end of the attached Utube video) that the Stinger has rear fog lights?! Can someone post a pic of the rear fogs? I have not seen anything about this feature anywhere on the internet.
A huge chunk of the EU disagree and require them like law, just like our idiotic third brake light requirement since pre-1986 vehicles had perfectly functional brake lights, and those stupid airbags are useless since all cars come with perfectly functional seat belts, since seat belts already were massively effective in saving lives. Oh and ABS? Pre-ABS, people were perfectly capable of pumping the brakes to maintain control of the vehicle, and don't get me started with things like RADAR-based collision avoidance, lane keep assist, and rear view camera nonsense. All those features are totally pointless. In fact, I think you should ditch the Stinger and buy a 1984 Yugo GV instead. /sRear fogs seem kinda silly, just turn on the tail lights, no need for a separate light.
Also, in a good chunk of the states it is law that you should have your lights on during rain/snow anyway.
The tailights are dim too when the parking lights or headlights are on, that's my point. I've never had an issue seeing a car ahead if they had their lights on, and personally I wish the tails came on with the DRLs especially for those idiots out there that forget to turn on their lights in inclimate weather or night time.A huge chunk of the EU disagree and require them like law, just like our idiotic third brake light requirement since pre-1986 vehicles had perfectly functional brake lights, and those stupid airbags are useless since all cars come with perfectly functional seat belts, since seat belts already were massively effective in saving lives. Seriously though, it's an incredibly useful feature since the fog lights are traditionally dim, to distinguish them from brake lights. There have been times on the freeway in heavy fog and whiteout snow conditions I haven't seen vehicles until up close, but the euro-sourced cars whose drivers understood they had rear fogs and turned them on have been clearly visible from significantly further away (Volvo, Porsche).
