Hey Stinger guru's.

Need some advice, currently have a intake/cat back installed. Noticed the car now and then overboosts and cuts power, returns to normal straight away.

Looking at getting a RaceChip GTS off a friend, would this fix the overboosting issue before i pull the trigger and buy it off him?

Hi, I have racechip GTS on 7 for about a year, Stinger 3.3 GT with no other modifications. It drives absolutely without problems

Adding a chip that increases boost isnt going to solve overboost issues, it may add to the issue. What catback are you running and do you still have your primary and secondary cats on?

I had a RaceChip GTS for a year and a half before I got my current Lap3 ECU tune. While I never had any issues with the RC GTS, it won't fix your overboost issues. Only a ECU tune will truly resolve all overboosting issues.

My power gains from the RC GTS: 3.3TT - Correct Dyno results (Racechip GTS Map 7 compared to JB4 map2)

I was getting overboost on a stock MY22. Now with my mods, and a Racechip GTS I haven't had it overboost at all.
