3.3TT Quicksilver Exhaust Systems

Has gotten louder and deeper also deceleration now produces some growing gurgles

I like the sound.. please give us a DRONE report
There is no such thing as drone with this system. Zip zero nada
Deep rich classy bass tone, its quite hard to explain. BOVs are much louder, or at least you can clearly hear them now, and its quite a beast when you launch it.

+1 for very interested. Anxious to read & hear more reviews.

I've been looking for a system that will put a smile on my face when I'm driving hard and when I remote start it, that will let others outside the car know I'm not stock, but that I can't hear on the interstate.

Might this be the one?!
100% this is it
Weather permitting this week, I will try to get some quality videos of this exhaust. Cold start, revs, flybys and launches. Hopefully, I can capture how amazing this exhaust sounds and convince those on the fence abiout purchasing, and at least gain some credibility that it does sound very very good.

Good to hear!

If anyone is experiencing drone, it may be due to the passenger side muffler assembly NOT being slid back into the rear bumper tips. The passenger side has a slip fit flange allowing the muffler to either install shallow or deep into the bumper tips. It will slide back several inches allowing the tailpipes to be centered in the tips. If you have drone, check this. Loosen the band clamp and push muffler assembly rearward

Looks like my Stinger is going to be speaking with a British accent, placed the order tonight.

That would be awesome and much appreciated! If you could include some clips from inside the car cruising steady at ~75mph, that would be even better!

Do you have the midpipes too? And stock downpipes?

Interesting how you say there’s absolutely no drone but @StungnTn says there’s more than he expected and has data showing it.

Seems like exhaust tips are the first and best measure for reducing drone on this car, I'm interested in knowing if StungTn has aftermarket tips or not.

Seems like he doesn't according to the YouTube clip he posted. Looks like stock chrome tips.

True, but you can also use the OEM tips if you join them to the aftermarket exhaust pipes and use some exhaust wrap to keep the heat under control (they're obviously not designed to be in direct contact with exhaust pipes). I could be wrong on the how and why but I know I've seen in mentioned on this board a few times as a DIY alternative to aftermarket tips. It would be difficult to see if he'd done that.

Yes that is odd, and obviously he has proof of it as well. I can 100% say I have no drone whatsosever. Stillen was drone city, Borla almost none, QS is none. You can have a whispered conversation at highway speeds, and listen to the radio under 10 volume. I have ark secondaries and stock tips. I think StungTn may have to slide the one muffler back further and that should fix it hopefully, because if it is not back far enough, it will sit about three inches short of the tips

I've been looking at the photos of the Quicksilver system and I can't figure out where you have 3 inches of fore/aft adjustment...

Passenger side muffler assembly does not have a welded flange on it. It come with a slip fit flange with about 6 inches of od pipe and a band clamp

I gotcha now. Excuse the noob...

is the stock exhaust split into two pieces (well, three really) like the QS? i might keep the stock around for a few days so i'll need to fit in the car for the ride back from my muffler shop.

Wow, this is such a good price. I am so tempted at this price but will not get my car for a few months. Stingers are pretty rare over here and replacing my Audi S4, so I will missing the valve system on the exhaust. The car I am purchasing is a 2018 spec which I believe is even quieter than the 2020 spec I test drove at the dealers and that was way too quiet.

If you are 100% sure you're getting the car then might as well pull the trigger on the exhaust now and just hang on to it until you're ready to put it on. If something happens and you don't end up getting the Stinger you can just sell the parts after the deal expires and recoup your investment.

Really wish they made an AWD version of the secondary downpipes. I would VERY seriously consider swapping out my ARKs for these to pair with my MBRP, I bet it would sound better that way.
