PRESSERtech Kia Stinger GT Dyno RESULTS!!

and your signature says 430 WHEEL tq and 380 WHP.... doesn't add up.

Yes, those were previous runs with an awful guy running the DynoJet. I will update with these figures because they are consistent.

We need a Dyno redo lol...

I need to see the real gains from the Presertech tune....Whoever did the dyno should not be doing the redo dyno.

400 WHP for just a tune seems about right if it was a RWD dyno. I think Presser did 396 stock w tune.

Whatever.

I don't have another option for a full AWD dyno. Take the info for what its worth. If it worth nothing to you, read it and move on silently.

Hey no need to get offensive, I didn't mean my comment negatively towards you. I would of loved to get to see a good dyno on a presertech tune.

Thanks for sharing! My apologies if my comment came out offensive.

No problem, I agree with you on almost everything. I'm just trying to help others. I'm frustrated with the resources I have here in El Paso and with the quality of the graphs. I've invested many hours into a measurement that means nothing to me because I'm totally happy with my real world performance

Then, as I'm trying to help, I get ungrateful critics. I'm done with Dyno runs for the forum.

My next mods will be CAI and exhaust cut off valves which may entail a new tune. But, those results will be for my eyes only.

Thank you, Angel.

You can also pull the awd fuse and use a rwd dyno.

I agree it's a bummer if resources are low.

I get it regardless of what a dyno say I know you can feel the power of the tune. I just wish there was more data on the Presertech tune. I really appreciate you providing all the info you have.

I really want to get a presertech tune in the future but I want to take a road trip to Atlanta to get tuned in person and dynoed.

CAI and an exhaust mods are great. Do you plan on getting re-tuned after the mods?

Don't worry about critics that is part of the forum. I have a lot of fans as well.

Lol, I knew I was preaching to the choir there!

There was another guy at the school who runs his own shop. He was impressed as hell with my cars performance. I wish he was the one actually running my car on the dyno.

The @PRESSERtech LLC tune removes all the play in our gas pedal. Touch it and you are moving like lightening! While it is awesome on the road, it made it quite challenging to control acceleration and not trigger the kick down switch. This all contributed to the fugly graphs....

The bad graph has nothing to do with the tune, I am sure the tune is amazing. It has all to do with the person that did the Dyno did not do it properly hence the reason for the bad graph. It's such a bummer he ruined it because this was would have been amazing info. I been waiting for so long for someone to provide a dyno, track results etc..... I know that the presertech tune is underrated because the lack of info on it, but I know everyone that has one loves it.

I fully understand were you are coming from. I am about 11 hours away from Atlanta. I told myself that by next summer if there is no other tuners locally to me, then I will take the road trip to Atlanta.

Anyways if you ever get another go at a dyno after you get the CAI and exhaust defetely take advantage of the opportunity especially if its free.

What CAI you getting?

I'm not sure which CAI I'll get. I'm finicky. I want noise when I step on it, but quiet when cruising. Hence the electronic exhaust cutoff. Yet, I know with that, when using it I will need more air coming in than my K&N DROP INs will provide.

I've never been to the track with a car, outside of my SRT driving experience. I'm trying to get a husband of a coworker who visits the track every weekend its open to drive my car for a couple runs.

CAI is all subjective you do have many options.

I have the Agency Power and like them a lot.

If you are willing to let "Coworker husband" drive the car to the track that would be great. I would love to see the results. Make sure to get the intake and exhaust done before the track.

Mr Mac do the cai DIT that Stung has done along with some more folks...I just did this two days ago...knocked 2 tenths off my 0 to60....instead of kissing off hundred of bills on the same thing you can do for 70....check out the DIY thread on the intake....mine looks as good or better than any out on the market that cost 400 or more....if you are able to chew gum and walk at the same time you can do this yourself in an hour :) Wash

Yes, he hit the kick down switch right at the same time.

Here's the run just prior when he hit the kick down and power jumped, just one of those Hazzards of going to a school and having tuners in training.

At least these pulls were free! . View attachment 24599

Seems to me that you've gone from 383 WHP to 407 WHP with just the secondary downpipes. If so, that's a 29 crank HP increase. Impressive!

I agree on the part that this is the most cost effective way, but definitely not better looking than intakes out there. Not saying the DIY intakes look bad just not as pretty as Injen, AP, AEM and JT.

I had the DIY intakes for about 4 months, then I actually purchased the AP intakes. I wanted heat shields and plastic tubing.

You could save about $300 going this route.

I wish we could get access to this ECU tune in Australia.....

I am sure you can. Call presertech, they should be able to ship to Australia.

You lost the anchors to the car's chassis this way, don't you? Aren't the intakes free-standing in there and can move around?
