PRESSERtech Kia Stinger GT Dyno RESULTS!!

Only with K&N cai intakes. The development car has exhaust cutouts but we left them closed as not many exhaust option were out at that time. We are going back to dyno in a few weeks to run with exhaust open.
I was thinking of doing cutouts but another member said there wasn’t room. Do you know what brand cutouts?

We sure can :)

So if someone has an AWD GT2 with jonny tig intake & FMIC and an aftermarket exhaust wouldn't it be required to bring in the car to tune on the dyno? Are you saying that someone could send in the ECU and you could tune it without the car there? By this i mean you developed your tune on a stock RWD Stinger GT on the dyno. What about the differences between the 2 cars?

Hey All. I just wanted to say that everyone has a product that they believe in and is welcome to share. We try our best to respect our customers and our competitors. For some, our tune provides what they're looking for and for others that choose a different product, that's fine too. There is no one size fits all. We simply put out the information and let our customers decide. The upside to all this is that Stinger owners win. The more choices you have, the better the industry becomes. You guys have a great weekend driving! Cheers.

This is how I feel all vendors should behave in public forums. Thanks for this PRESSERtech! I hope I didn't derail the conversation too far. Keep up the good work!

Now that's something I can agree with! With all the triggering regarding my post on how to properly measure performance on a smartphone for a moment I thought I accidentally posted in a politics forum. :)

Lets get back to talking about Stinger !!! @PRESSERtech LLC how much is your tune i went online and there were no details...if i have exhaust, downpipe and untake can you tune for that??

I’ll be going this route in the near future too. Please post your thoughts!
Got the email from Todd this morning.
He was able to crack the password and is tuning my ECU as i write this.
It will be shipped today and i should receive early next week.
I can't wait for this improvement and the mods to follow.

Sweet, and congratulations.

You're gonna love it!

Can't wait to hear your review of the tune!

Yes, i will post up a short review after i get it re-installed on my stock GT2 AWD and try it out.

Agreed and i can't wait. I also have mods planned and paid for already, just waiting on shipping for JT & Eibach.
Mods include: Ark GRiP, Jonny Tig CAI & FMIC, Eibach Pro Plus

I wonder if it's better to get it tuned after the mods, or if it doesn't matter with this tune

Hi! We are looking forward to working with you! It is okay to go ahead and have it tuned for these mods even if they are not installed yet. We can make settings and the ECU has great adaptive qualities until your mods are done :)

Apparently it does not matter. I did discuss this with Todd before i sent my ECU and was told that he will tune it such that it will work for both stock and modded. He will also re-flash back to stock if need be or re-tune if he comes up with a better tune at no charge, i would just pay for shipping.

that how we roll :) we gurantee our software for life, if we make improvements to your soft version we will update at no charge and re-flash to stock as many times as you want :)

Ok need to call BS on this one. How can you tune for mods you don't have yet? Sure you can, just dont put the peddle down until you actually have the parts. Agressive boost and timing before you have the parts will end badly. This and with stock plugs. Good luck! Isn't this why every tumer out there has stages to match your upgrades?

@Tonkabob, If you look at the post this is all referencing the mods in question are all rather benign.

The adaptive nature of the stock ECU covers them just fine. I don't see why a tuned ECU would handle them any differently. If you are talking injectors, water/meth, E85, etc well then I agree. BS. But that's not what I'm seeing.
