Anybody have a recommendation on where to go to repair my Stinger? For my no-fault hit and run, I was thinking of taking it straight to Lee Johnson Kia, but thought there might be better options.
I took mine to Lakeside Collision in Kirkland when I had a mishap. They were recommended by my insurance, Geico.
Are you in the PNW?@namja I am the body shopThe $12000 GT2 stinger rebuild project
The rebuild quote from the original repaid estimate was over 26k. So far i am like 3-4k in and have already got all the "big ticket" items. Anyways insurance body shops will always quote super high, its how they make a profit.
Nope, a state down. In CA. Its hard here for auto shops, all the rent has gone up because everyone and their mom wants a shop so that they can grow weed in it! They are too stoned to care about the price. Make all that money back real quick anyways.... That's why in order to survive you have to make more money, so you quote dealer prices. Are you in the PNW?
Look on Google and Yelp for reviews, compare to other shops in the area. Call ahead to schedule drop-off based on parts availability, don't just drop it off and hope.
Nah I was asking here first because not many people have Stingers, and while I know it's just a vehicle, I just wanted to make sure they knew what they were doing. I did have in mind a couple repair shops that I worked with in the past (with a different car). Also I wanted to see if I could concurrently have them install some aftermarket parts!
