Hi guys!

Past few months I've been pushing this Chinese company to build a custom cam for our Stingers and after sending them a bunch of info and the parts (oem plastic covers) they've sent me a first prototype.
It uses the power from the mirror/sensors on the windscreen to power up the camera and uses a custom made cover that seamlessly integrates it on the windscreen. Right now it's yellow but final product will be black.
You can access the camera either through an app + wifi or simply by popping out its micro-sd card and putting it into your laptop.

What do you guys think?
I'm testing it right now and hope they will put it into production. Should be below 200€.

Video Specs and FOV would be nice.

To by bolo perfektné, presne to, čo hľadám. Vyrábajú takmer všetky modely podobné, okrem Stingera. Určite by som si ho kúpila

Ako by som sa k nej dostal, nejaký kontakt? Ďakujem

I chose a dash cam that plugs into the OBD2 port that alowes parking mode.
The way it integrates into the windshield mount or mirror is cool

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
It's just forward facing but I think they offer a second camera that can be connected to it.
The camera can be 2k or 4k.
It can have parking mode but only if connected to a power bank.

I don't know when it will be available because I need some help.

Can anyone in the US check to see what are the part numbers of their mirror cover and cap? Are they the same as mine below?
And maybe check the mirror connector that it looks the same as mine?
(please turn off the car before disconnecting the mirror)

Fairly easy and it would be of imense help.
Here is how to pop out the cover:

could you give me the contact of the company, I would try to contact them and see if they send me a sample, of course I would pay them

do you only need the data from the US Stingers?

They asked me to investigate if the US stingers have the same connector and cover as the ones here in the EU.
And also if the facelifted stingers have the same connectors. What year is your Stinger?

I think they are only willing to make a series model only if they can sell it on all markets and for all models.

Hello, 2019 ,3,3 GT
Ok, so it will definitely work on yours. Mine is also 2019.
I need someone in the US to confirm that:
1. They have the same cover
2. They have the same connector to the mirror

That's pretty astounding that they would prototype something like that for a fairly niche market, good job!

I'll try to get some photos this weekend if I can.

I was not able to get photos this past weekend. I'll try sometime this week.

I hope this works. Photos should link to originals if more detail is needed.

For the record, the model is a 2022 Canadian GT LTD. I think it should be "close enough" to a US model.

these are the connections to the mirror. And they are the same for ALL pre-wired hyundai/kia models, going back at least as far as 2015, if not further. they should be able to pull +12v, switched, and ground from there, easy.

I would definitely be interested in one. hopefully the final unit will be in a non-yellowing/fading black material as that area is prone to some serious UV from the sun.

Ditto. I am keenly interested even though I forgot one of the part numbers. I'll try to get it soon.

*EDIT*
Same--I wish it was black, not taupe, and of course the ability to attach a second rear-facing camera. The form of the example looks slick, but I think it would look better in black :)

I am interested in this as well and am in the market for a dash cam. I wonder if there would be space for hardwiring a radar detector in that same area as well.

photo I missed. hopefully that helps

@LordKOTL Thank you so much!!
Just to confirm, yours is the facelifted model, correct?

The mirror connector is the same as mine. It takes power exclusively from the auto-dim mirror so the car doesn't need to have all the other radar gadgets. I think all Stingers come with auto-dim mirror as standard.

The little cover is also the same.
But the large plastic cover has a different code. I see yours is J5030 and mine J5010. I need to investigate if there are physical differences to how the pieces look.

In the meantime I painted the yellow one black, because it was annoying me while testing. I becomes invisible once it's black. Super convenient.

Yes, mine is a facelift model.
