Nope... Booked in for PS5 only to match the new front ones I put on 2 weeks ago.. otherwise I'd be going a different brand... Certainly won't use Michelin after these are dead

Are we talking about these miniscule lines? I would personally drive these until the tread was gone! But I guess we all live with different levels of risk

It's the cracks extending between the tread blocks that make me shiver.

So I spoke to the Michelin rep who apparently had not seen anything like this before and got directed back to Kia and that there is nothing they can do. I mentioned all the warranty and product responsibilities but they couldn't care less... Certainly won't be putting a set of Michelin's back on the car once these tyres die.

Well. You got 23,000 out of them. Not great but I changed Goodyear Eagle GAs on a new Ford Falcon at 20,000kms.

The fact that it is the rear maybe it's had hard acceleration, rough roads maybe, who knows if you are the second owner what it's been through.

Given that 23,000 miles is more than the USA warranty .. (if it was kilometers, I guess it had a little bit of life left)

Sounds like they had a good life!
