any one found car goes better on higher octaine petrol I filled mine BP active, no normal at pump it seamed to go a lot better noticed when putting normal unleaded in tank
 
Here we go again. :D (Did you search for this first? Just curious.)

The only effect on the car using "regular" is a possible reduction in power and gas mileage; the engine compensates for the octane. That said, I want full rated power whenever I step on it (several times per week), and I like trying for the best mileage possible. Some here claim that they get as good or even better mileage on regular, so, why waste money? I also don't like the idea that my engine has to compensate for lower octane. I run what is recommended.
