Perth Night cruise

Was speaking to an old forum member today (AV8R) who mentioned we should organise a cruise and meet for Perth Stinger owners. After the success of the recent Sydney Stinger meet, it seemed like a good idea. I was looking at the 18th February for a possible date and it will be a night cruise, meeting at a local car park at about 8.00pm and then a cruise to another location. It would only be for a couple of hours. Let me know if anyone out there on the forum is interested and has any good ideas. Thanks.

The Sydney meet was set up on the Kia Stinger Owners Club Australia/NZ on Facebook, you can also set a meet on there as an event which will get you good exposure.
Just to add, after the Sydney meet where we had 21 turn up, the guys in Adelaide were inspired & posted a similar meet also on this FB site with a weeks notice, which they had last week & 16 turned up.

Yes I will post it on the Kia Stinger owners Facebook page too. After speaking to a couple of guys today we decided to make it a Saturday night in Feb or early March. Will post a date soon both on Facebook and the forum.

Yeah unfortunately, I only picked it up late on Friday 24th Jan, and with the long weekend and Double Demerits etc, I did not get to PLAY as much as I would have liked to.. and to top it off I had to fly back to site on Tuesday Morn ... But I will be home on the 13th Feb for my 2 week break, WATCH this space !!!

Already done them in Sept. 2018, I was probably the first in OZ to do it, I also have the Whiteline HD Endlinks fitted which compliments the swaybars

Yeah i seen that you have them fitted, was just wondering if the difference is "worth it"?

The date for the Perth night cruise has changed. It will now be Saturday the 7th of March. Meeting at E Shed Markets on Peter Hughes Drive in Fremantle at 6.00pm. We will then drive to the Boat Shed Cafe in South Perth travelling via Curtin Avenue to Cottelsoe and then along Stirling Highway, Mounts Bay Road and across the Narrows Bridge on the Kwinana Freeway onto Mill Point Road, South Perth. Will post a route map soon and will send a reminder closer to the day. Hope to see as many Stingers as possible. Good way to meet up with like minded car enthusiasts and share experiences of their Stinger ownership. This is not a long drive and is only a commitment of a couple of hours, but if interest appears high, maybe some longer cruises could be arranged in the future. I will post this on the Stinger Owners FB page too. Regards.

Best upgrade you can do for the $$, would change it back, I cannot recommend it enough makes it a true GT IMHO.

Nice one Pumbaa. Only seen one orange Stinger in the wild. Will be quite rare for a while. Just updated the Perth cruise date. It may not be to your liking with you being a FIFO worker. Apologies if you can't make it now. What swing do you work. Looks like a nice new area where you took the photo. Do you live in that area?

Haha... been a Rocket Rider for a good few years now and the new TFC was ordered and paid for almost 18 months ago.. but yes FIFO has been very good to me..

Yeah mate photo was taken outside my apartment block in Burswood, unfortunately I will not be back for the revised date.. only get back to Perth on the 11th March.. I am on the "hollywood roster" 2/2/2/4...

I know John Hughes has another Orange Stinger as their Demo, so just a matter of time before they sell it off.. but in the interim I'll be happy to be the "stand out"...
