Perth cruise?

Also, the only event I have taken my Stinger to, was the Kia Motors Australia Track Day / Experience Event back on the 16th July 2018, held at Sandown Raceway, the Victorian Drive Days are like at least 6 months apart, and if you miss it, well it's a long wait, I have been told recently I should sell it, i just don't know , I have not lost any passion for the car, it's just so damn frustrating that I have only been able to go to the Kia event, nothing else.

I too have cards to give out. The problem is there just ain’t enough Stingers in Perth and the few that are out there are not enthusiasts enough to go on Facebook forums and this forum despite how hard I have tried. I have gone to dealerships all over the Perth area and told them about the forum , even given out flyers for them to give to new customers but nothing has worked. I even chased down an owner and made him stop so I could talk to him about his car and the forum.
My hats off to Sydney owners as they have spirit and motivation to get in there. I do feel let down to be honest hence having given it my best shot I’m handing the reigns over to the other Perth owners to see if they can do better.

Maybe change after shave or better still tell them you drive a Dcb stinger lol.

It is a strange phenomenon ( do, do, a do, do) why Perth people don't embrace the Stinger.

What are you talking about? From what I can tell you’re holding Stinger meets at Maccas almost every weekend!

Your quite right when you think about it, I guess I should look at it on the bright side, everytime I take my Stinger out for breakfast, there is always 3 in atttendance, Me , Myself and I, we usually have some great conversations, but i don't know why other poeple keep staring at me , as if I am talking to myself...

The free inaugural Stinger Cruise Day is upon us and it's going to be BIG!

We kick off the day at 9am with a free BBQ breakfast at Midland Kia, we hope to have a WA police Stinger on display during this time. At 10am we start our cruise through the Perth Hills, having a large group of Stingers cruising through the hills will be quite the sight to behold. We will finish our cruise around 11.30 at Whiteman Park where we will visit the 'touring car museum'. At the end of our museum visit we will have a delicious free lunch together after which we finish our day at 2pm.

Not only will this be a day to enjoy your stunning Stinger, it will also be a great opportunity to meet new friends and become a part of the Midland Kia Stinger family. To top it all off, this day will be completely on us! This is our way of saying thank you for choosing Midland Kia as your Kia dealer of choice.

On the FB post someone said they called and was advised only for Midland customers. Whereas the response to my email from Rick Van Der Windt was non-Midland Kia customers are welcome and he sent me a link (requires a Google account) to register.

We will open the Midland Kia - Stinger Drive Day to non-Midland buyers as well.


Breakfast and Lunch will be included however the museum visit wont be but they are obviously more than welcome to come along if they like. Normally $15 entry you can get a discount of $5 off entry fee.


Information for the day: Sunday May 5th

9AM – Meet at Midland Kia for a BBQ breakfast, we hope to have one of the Police Stingers on display.

10AM – We start our cruise through the Perth Hills

11.30AM – We finish the cruise at Whiteman Park where we visit the Touring Car Museum.

2PM – we finish our day with a lunch
