Parking sensor warning ⚠️

Good day to all.

Yesterday for no reason my front collision warning sensor came on even though nothing was close, it has stayed on.

Then I accidentally reversed into a bollard the same day as my reversing beepers didn’t come on ‍ so that now has stayed on as well (no actual physical damage was done!)



Any ideas why this has happened and if I can reset these warnings
I’ve looked through menus and plugged in my Diagnostic box but no faults showing.

the other day my car wouldn't start, even though the dash lights said it was on, as I kept trying to get it to crank over. I disconnected the battery and it later started just fine. you might try the battery disconnect as your first trouble shooting effort.

Rear sensor on my car says something similar. Only the rear though. Bringing it in for an oil change next week I'll let you know what they say/do about the sensor.

Update on parking sensor problems! Cars been in with dealer what I thought would be under Kia’s 7 years warranty! Wrong, because it’s been in an accident before I bought it but fully repaired I’m not covered and they want £1400 for a new wiring harness Robbing bast@rds!

Damn that sucks! I still need to schedule mine to get done. Been playing phone tag with the service manager. I hate how customer service is at basically ANY place since COVID, it sucks.
