Panthera Metal Window Tint

Welcome to the hive! I would do a ceramic tint, 3M, SunTek, or other high quality brand (ceramic tints have better IR / heat rejection )

Just picked up a virtually identical GT2, have the same question :)

I did 20% avery brand all around except the windshield. Its perfect, will probably do the windshield between 50-75% depending what is available at the shop. Will post pics later when I can.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
35% all the way around - legal limit here for front side windows (I can't stand "mix and match tint)

I thought it was Llumar ceramic 35% in front, 15% in the rear. The sunroof is also a high heat rejection film, the windshield is Llumar Airblue 80. The Airblue has some good heat rejection (43%), and 99% UV blocking.

Llumar ctx (ceramic) 15% all around, nothing on windshield. Perfect tint, never had any visibility issues and never run into trouble with police about it. My other car had 5% which got me a ticket after a few years.
15-20% is a good zone imo. Of course it depends how strict the police are in your area.4FCE4A05-5430-4539-A08C-A800B185719A.webp

Congrats on the beautiful car.

In addition to the percentage and product brand, IMO it is critical to find a good installer, so you may want to look for local recommendations from fellow enthusiasts, regardless of the car/community--not the dealer or anyone who might have a relationship with a local tint shop.

Also, different products can have a colored hue to them, so you may want to look out for that. A blue or green hue may stand out against pantera under certain conditions.

I personally have been very happy with Suntek CXP. It is not one of the normally hyped brands, but I have had only good experience with it--heat rejection, clarity, and appearance--on a variety of cars. I usually go with the 15% film, but on my first stinger (white on black) I went with 33% and found it plenty dark. I give my installer very high marks.

As hummus said, the installer is most important. Most all of the window tint products are good nowadays, finding someone who can truly do a good job can be difficult. Mine was done by a guy in his shop behind his house. He did a great job but I almost took it back because of a few small bubbles no one will ever see. It was my opinion he didn't clean the windows right or his dirty ass place was just to dusty. Anyway you go the Stinger looks better with some darker glass.

20% all around nothing on the windshield. You'll never have a problem with visibility until you go dark on the windshield as well.

I diddo what most users are saying that the installer is the main thing where the brand will not matter too much. But personally, I went 25% all around and went with the 3M Ceramic tint. The windshield is ceramic as well but I believe mines is only at 75% so that visibility would not be an issue at night.

Did you remove the red tails or is there a film on there? Looks like you have clear tails.

I'm jealous of you guys........ Minnesota is lame, we can legally only have 50%. Which feels like a waste of money imo. The shop claims that even 50% will do a good job of blocking UV rays and that it will look a tad darker with all black interior, which is what I have. I had 35% years ago but I got harassed and stopped by the cops all the time. Definitely don't need that. As a black man who lives in the suburbs of MN I don't need to give the cops here anymore reasons to be stopping me, especially given all that's gone on here the past few years.

The red tails are vinyl film. Clear inner tails are untouched. If you follow behind me, light shows through bright like it’s not there yet aesthetically pleasing to me.
Damn, that sucks in MN. 15-20% is a normal day here in GA. If you can see someone in their car, it’s illegal lol j/k

percentage wise that'd depend on your state laws but definitely pay the extra for ceramic tint for heat deflection - you'll be thankful you did when the summer sunshine rolls around

Are there any Panthera Metal owners with pictures of their tinting to share? I'm killing the time waiting for mine by making a wish list and am curious what the different percentages look like on this colour.

I just did 20% all around (except front windshield) . I’m in S.Carolina so cops don’t really care and no state inspection. 20% is not too dark anyway. I’ll post pics later today. Looks good.
