Order different color factory interior or get custom at a shop

I recently purchased a 2018 GT2 in HiChroma Red w/ black interior and my first time seeing a Stinger was last year in the showroom I thought the red on red looked amazing. Has anyone had experience on pricing for factory red interior? I'm waiting to hear an estimate from the dealership.

I think you're going to find that the price they come back with is insane. I wouldn't doubt if it's over 5k in parts alone.

In that case it'll probably be cheaper to take the hit on a trade-in for one with red interior.

Just received an estimate on the factory interior $8500USD before labor and taxes. The dealership recommended a local upholstery shop, for labor and tax it would be $1950USD. If I found someone local that wanted to swap I would do it.

Pretty much exactly what I expected. I've been toying with the idea of getting a local shop to wrap my headliner in black suede since I have the beige cloth headliner and I hate it, it's probably once the biggest things I wanted in the GT Limited that the GT didn't have. Anyone else look at the cost of doing that?

They are probably quoting you an aftermarket kit. It can be done but will not look like factory.

In Australia a choice of black or red interior is available on all GT models at no additional cost.

I bet it would be hard to find someone to swap a red interior for black, that red is beautiful (not that I'm biased..). Might get someone to bite if you add a monetary incentive though!
