I am getting ready to change my oil for the first time in my 2022 stinger GT line. Parts store gave me a spin on filter but on car looks like cartridge filter housing. Are these interchangeable?

looking online, it does look like the 2.5 liter turbo 4 does use a spin on filter rather than a cartridge type. of course , you'll know immediately once you get the old one off... i doubt it would be interchangeable though if it wasn't. Looks like it is cartridge since someone who has one can verify!

The 2.5 does not use a spin on. The application guide is wrong. 2.5 Uses a cartridge
