• PLEASE! It is VERY important that this area is not used for the discussion of technical issues with your Stinger. This section is for posting about regional-specific things like Stinger clubs, events, local vendor or dealer recommendations, KiaStinger.com member sightings, etcetera... In other words, I do NOT want people to need to scour through several different sections to find answers about their heads up display. That's why there's a section dedicated specifically to discussions like that. THANK YOU!

The meet was a great success, the turn out was awesome, even under the under the scorching hot weather of Austin we had a whooping 12 Stinger's together in one place!! It was a great sight!

A big thank you to everyone that attended, it was great chatting with all of you and sharing future plans for our cars and the passion we all have for it. A special mention goes to Hernan (not sure if he is a member here) and his family who drove all the way from Chicago, Illinois on his Micro Blue GT AWD to join us. It was great to have you with us.

The cruise was great, we were able to put the Stinger though its paces and really put to the test the handling capabilities of it.

We will definitely be planning the next one, hopefully with even more Stinger's in attendance.

What a great turn out, congrats to all who attended, would have been a great sight, the pics a real nice...hope we get a similar turn out next week....oh & thanks for mentioning your warm weather for those of us down under in winter.

That's a beautiful lineup guys. I hope to make it next time. I'm only 215 miles away but the timing didn't work out. I bet that was a good looking convoy going down the road.

And a fast moving convoy on the hills and curves. Exhilarating. To say the least. Thanks to all of you whom I met and hope to see the ones who couldnt make it this time, next time.

Any ideas when and where the next meet will be? I know there were a few spots mentioned, but no definite place or dates. Any ideas being thrown around?

It’s only fair that we all drive up to Chicago for the next one...

I’d be down for leaving the Austin area if y’all have something else in mind.

I'd go for Chicago, but the husband wouldn't. Someone had mentioned Galveston..? I was thinking maybe a Fall cruise, but I'd like to hear what you guys are thinking?

I'm biased but Corpus Christi has a nicer bayfront than Galveston. Although it's probably a lot farther away for most of you. That's the only thing that sucks about living here.

I am open to anywhere, but I have a shut down beginning in September through October at a minimum. So will be working 15 days out of 16 for that 2 month stretch. If they go over at all, and they usually do, it could be for November also. So I'm open to all suggestions, but I was thinking while the swarm was carving up the roads in Austin, that it would be pretty awesome to have it at an abandoned airfield with good pavement to tear it up and get good individual/group photos. Also considered a racetrack group rental possibly, like Texas speedway, or any of these others listed on the following website.

Texas Racetracks and Speedway .

Obviously, we would need to be very detailed in our planning, i.e, lock down dates and money for the track rental, (2 or 3) spare tires, etc.
