I am currently in the market for hopefully a Stinger GT or GT-Line but so far I have tried contacting a few dealerships in NY/LI and they are being real sketchy when it comes to getting pricing or pretty much getting any info on what's on the lot. I have been researching and it seems like Kia's service is definitely not up to par. For those in the NY/LI area, do you guys have a preferred dealer that has a good reputation for when you need the car serviced? Or a performance shop in the LI area that is good with Stingers?

PLEASE! It is VERY important that this area is not used for the discussion of technical issues with your Stinger. This section is for posting about regional-specific things like Stinger clubs, events, local vendor or dealer recommendations, KiaStinger.com member sightings, etcetera... In other words, I do NOT want people to need to scour through several different sections to find answers about their heads up display. I went to 3 dealerships out in NY/LI. First is Northstar Kia, sales over there was ok, they were friendly but had a 6k markup when I went, service is good over there, when I made a appointment with their service about an issue I had the mechanic over there hoped in with me and tested out the car with no questions ask, only problem is that they are always busy.
Karp Kia, went into sales while I was getting my car serviced over there and decided to see what they have when I was thinking about trading my other Stinger in, once I walked in everyone from sales to reception just ignored me so I just left, and another time I walked in to talk to a sales person to inquire about another new Stinger, they just said they don't have one but have one coming the week after and they will call me, they never did. Service was ok in the beginning with the oil changes and recall but when I really have the problem with my brakes that the warrenty would cover they wanted to charge me 200 bucks just to take a look at it, said that if it's covered under the warrenty they will refund me the money but if it's not they will keep the 200 bucks, never went back there again.
South Shore Kia is another place I went to when I was looking into a pre-owned GT2 Stinger. At the time I had a black 2020 GT1 but I saw they had a 2019 GT2 for a really good price. Went in there to buy since I had an offer from Vroom for my other Stinger. The whole place is sketchy as hell, first I looked over the car, which was not in the best condition. Went in to discuss numbers, after an hour of finally getting the deal I want and about to test drive and sign the papers I decided to look at the car again. Noticed that they parked the car really close to the end of the bumper concrete parking curb. Once I took a real close look at it the bumper and it was cracked and looked like someone just put bonding agent on it to hold everything together. Went back again to the sales manager and the sales person, they went out to look at it and said they will only knock it down 200 bucks from our previous deal. Walked out and never went back.
At the moment I'm using a performance shop in Queens. They did my CPI and Flex Fuel Kit. Had a good experience with them so I went back there for a oil change and tire rotation. They even told me they have another Stinger coming in to replace his primaries pipes. I know this is a long post but hopefully it'll help you out.
