I’m a new Stinger GT Owner and forum member. I live on the Mid North Coast. Other than my own, I’ve never seen a Stinger on the road. Should I get my eyes tested or is this the experience of others? I’m definitely keen to change this experience and get my first Stinger sighting. Anyone near Mid North Coast or coming up this way?

My hand is definitely up for a meet.

Welcome aboard we've had a couple of meets so far and theres more planned.

Stingers still comparably rare still but they are around. You'll find them you just have to train the eye. All the info you will ever need regarding the Stinger is here. Will let you know via here where and when next meets on. Ps. What type and colour did you choose?

I bought the GT and in Ceremic Grey, with the black leather. I always love hearing people’s responses to the Ceremic Grey colour choice. People either love it or hate it. When I first saw it I asked the dealer where the top coats were as all I was seeing was the base coat.. Oh and also that I hated the colour.. Then it seemed to mature on me like a fine wine on my developing palate as I kept colour shopping for a couple of months prior to purchase. Now I really love it.

Thoughts on the colour? (I’m thick skinned so just shoot from the hip if you’re not a fan).

Western Sydney could be doable for me to drive down but would just need to be a convenient date etc to buddy other things up with the trip - family etc. Unfortunately I couldn’t do 22nd Sept but thank you kindly for letting me know FitR6. Sounds like it would be an awesome drive.

When I first saw the Ceramic Grey I hated it; thought it looked boring but that’s probably because it was parked next to a Deep Chroma Blue which was absolutely sparkling in the sun. Now after a few more months I’m ok with it, I think it looks refined. It seems to be very popular in the States, judging by this forum. Nowadays it reminds me of a respectable looking car with a real sting in the tail; kinda like a nun ripping off her habit to reveal a red suspenders and stocking set underneath!
 
Welcome to the forum & Stinger Owners Fraternity @Barto85, yes they are still a rare sight in the wild but we are out there. I was the same with the Ceramic Silver when I first saw it, I thought the Navy had left one of their cars at the dealership for servcie....lol.
My wife loves it & it has grown on me, if I was to do it over again it would be Ceramic Silver with Red Interior.

Unfortunately I never grew up around nuns to have that image! Lol most of the ones I saw where very old and wrinkly so I don’t have that mental association. :rofl:

I think ceramic grey has that initial effect on everyone as in W.T... but like the others it keeps growing on you. Of all the colours I'd like to see black. I've only seen it once but as the Rafa edition in the show room. Saw a white one this morning theres at least 4 or 5 whites close by.

They’re out there mate but few and far between. I’ve seen maybe 3 down here on the Central Coast, haven’t driven mine north of Newcastle yet but haven’t seen any up there either. Bought mine in Newcastle, dealer told me they’ve been selling to a lot of people from other areas more than locals. I think supply is still a bit of an issue.
 
Late post but I am from Sydney but currently working in Wagga Wagga until Feb. Have a Micro blue 3.3TT GT and will be keen to join some meets once I am back in Sydney. The modification bug has already set in as well!
