• PLEASE! It is VERY important that this area is not used for the discussion of technical issues with your Stinger. This section is for posting about regional-specific things like Stinger clubs, events, local vendor or dealer recommendations, KiaStinger.com member sightings, etcetera... In other words, I do NOT want people to need to scour through several different sections to find answers about their heads up display. That's why there's a section dedicated specifically to discussions like that. THANK YOU!

Sure will and Sat looking good weather wise.
Hey @philsting it was good to catch up with you today, that White GT of yours is radical & sounds great, love all you mods, also cool to see the black Stinger on the way home & gave thumbs up...cheers.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
I'll see you all Sat morning but can't stay for full drive.
Hi @Dave GT, great to see you come out to Lithgow, we had a good run to Bathurst, hopefully you can make the next one in full, but thanks for making it this morning you were the 9th Stinger.

Can't wait! Should be a great day.
Hey guys, i want your opinion, but first some background.
With all the talk about paint chips and possible bad paint; as well as the fact that I do the odd freeway trip, I was really concerned about keeping my Stinger in perfect condition! As I'm sure you can concur. So the moment I got it I had the clear coat paint protection wrap installed on the front half of the car. But doubt got the better of me and I also got a car bra custom made for the freeway trips for extra protection. I regret not getting one for my last car which has lots of chips and bug stains...
My question is, do you think I should use the car bra on the drive day? And what do you think of car bra?
I know it's not the most attractive thing... But safety over looks..? Maybe? I don't know haha. I've only had my Stinger for 3 weeks.

Hi @Legendaryolly nice to meet you today, thanks for taking the time to meet & run with us & look forward to catching up again.
Also look forward to you posting pics of your up & coming mods one you get your goodies.

Thanks for the drive. Great morning for it. Nice to meet you all. Looking forward to staying for whole event next time.

Yes what a great day and we weren't concerned it didn't get above 11c. Saw a lot of on coming traffic with mouths opened and necks craned as 9 Stingers flew by. Also the youngest Stinger owner age was obliterated the " Rafa" edition DCB Stinger was owned by 2 "P" players aged 18 and 19. I made them promise to post in that link. 20180714_123032.webp

Does everyone know about the drive day on Sunday 28 October 2018. The event is on Facebook. The Kia GT Owners Club page. I'm not sure if it's on here or not.

Yeah me too.
I have actually. All aesthetics though. No engine or performance. But you'll have to wait and see :)
Have you made any changes?

Ok Folks our three monthly drives is upon us again. This time its South of Sydney to the Illawarra.

Meet at: McDonalds Restaurant Liverpool Mega centre cnrs Cumberland Hwy & Viscount pl @8.30 for a 9.00 getaway.

Proceeding to The Royal National Park Heathcote for a drive through (We will not be stopping here as it is a $12 fee- drive through only). Our drive will take in Stanwell park, The Coalcliff sea bridge, Austinmeer, Thirroul. We will then stop at the lighthouse at Wollongong for a quick break.

The next stretch is onto the Big blow hole at Kiama , parking hopefully won't be an issue but someone with local knowledge tell me It can get busy. Thence over to Figtree for a lunch stop at the locally famous Chicko's Chicken shop or if you prefer the Pie cake café next door. We will then wind our way up to Mt. Keira look out for view of the awesome vistas . Leaving home ward bound at ones leisure from there.

This trip will be inconjunction with the Kia Gt Facebook group. Other Kia Vehicles including Stingers will be present.

A word of advise to participants ; to keep enough of a gap to the vehicle in front of you there are some narrow windy roads with little room for two cars be warned heavy braking maybe required.
