Not all GT2's have heated steering wheel

Wow. Didn't realize this after delivery. Apparently RWD GT2's are not equipped with heated steering wheel. Official website lists this as standard right?

I think I remember seeing this somewhere...I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure the AWD car with 18" wheels and all season tires comes with the heated steering wheels as a 'cold weather' item. I don't know if there's more to it than that or if it's available on the RWD as an option. My GT2 AWD with 18s has it. I'm bummed for you, it's a nice feature.

The book I have shows heated steering wheel as an option, not standard, on all trim levels.

My GT2 AWD with the 19 Summer tires (took 4 dealers to find it) has a heated steering wheel.

Only way to get a heated steering wheel is with AWD. (Been like this since before official release) And 19s are still standard in AWD, 18s are an option. (But then they neuter the top speed)

Just looked at Kia's website. The heated steering wheel is only available on the GT2 AWD.

Genesis does the same thing with their vehicles. I'm going to grab an AWD when I finally get one just to be sure I have a heated steering wheel. Love this feature on my Optima.

It's tied to AWD because they're both considered "cold weather features"

i think its depends on the market , here in the middle east all GT2 AWD dont have the heated steering wheel , instead we have the 360 camera.

I think this thread shows just how different each market is and how the area's management team picks and controls the options and yes pricing for their markets. IMO, I think it would complicate KIA's manufacturing runs for small changes like this.

I think they need a heated fuel cap more than steering wheel according to a recent post .

Nope and I was kind of bummed because the Optima I traded in for the Stinger had them. My daughter was a little sad about that.
